Request: Faster content catching up

Reasons:

  1. Servers are dead.
  2. Servers are even more dead and empty at lower levels.
  3. Players need to go from 1 to almost 220 content alone.
  4. All new content is for end-game only .
  5. The game right now tends to make players quit before even reaching “viable/actually enjoyable” content.
  6. So many classes, yet game yells at you not to play them because of the pain rolling an alt means.
  7. No, team level is not a help in leveling, the percent gained is too low and it’s highly limited for free players, it’s more of a bad joke than a help.
  • Create methods for new players and new characters to get into actual content faster.
  • Let players get bored of the game and quit before even getting to the part you can say “I’m playing ToS”.

…yea wont work, Korean mmo 101 mate, if you take out the grind, you take out opportunities to make money off the cash shop. Only way this will work is if they create exp scrolls that for example, gives 200 percent exp for 24 hours and likely will sell it for 50 to 100 tp each, pretty much 4-9 dollars per. But I doubt they will do that.

Now if it was a western mmo, yea, they will do it, and I seen plenty of western mmos that have, hell, seen quite a few just gives you a max, or near to max lv character complete with top quality raid ready gear even. All for anywhere between 15 to 35 bucks. Lulz.

That should be an option, yeah. That would help bring not only fresh blood into the game, but also old players who want to try interesting builds and not waste a massive amount of time when it turns out to be trash.

How come we’re 7 months into the game and there hasn’t been a single exp event, specially with the release of R8?

Because again, cash shop, can buy exp tomes, or tokens, you see, Korean mmo developers have this mindset that all westerners have a lot of money, and that we are all fat and lazy, its true, ■■■■ you not that’s what they think, thus we will spend that money, in order to get things done faster by any means necessary. Thus will only do such exp events when we bitch and moan long enough.

Hell theirs an exp event goin right now, with those dumplings, though…kinda useless unless ya do it in party. lol.

Idk what korean mmos you’re playing, but im playing 3 others currently that are not only not grindy, but 2 also had multiple jump character events (create a new character during the event and it gets to skip a large portion of the levels needed to reach cap)

Aion and Tera take like a week to cap at worst, gate of the world didnt even leave beta but i guess u nided that on ur lil resume :joy:, ro2 is ridiculously fast, with constant exp events on top of it and last i checked every weekend was 300%.

Funny that apparently i’m the one trying to insult you when you’re bringing up ■■■■ like hello kitty and calling me a kid. Nice try though.

Aion was a total BITCH of a grind, you must not have played it in beta and release young man. Not only was it a total grind, but you had to spend Kinah to clear death penalties too! Then their was the first Race specific equipment quest! Where you had to farm in a PVP contested zone for items to have a chance, a small chance, at crafting the needed item to hopefully PROC into a high quality which you had NO CONTROL over, and if it does, great! If not, back into the PVP zone you go! And I seen so many people grind for months, and months, even up to a YEAR to finally get their proc, one guy failed, 64 times, and it would take up to a WEEK to farm enough of the items for ONE ATTEMPT. He quit the game after the 64th attempt. :stuck_out_tongue:

TERA, no grind you say? Son of a moron, do you even know what Grind is? It does NOT pertain to just leveling, baka, it pertains to Gear, and Money as well. Gear can GATE CONTENT too, in TERA, you couldn’t do the next hardcore dungeon over, until you have most to all of the gear of the PREVIOUS dungeon, to be strong enough to DO the next dungeon, and this involved running said dungeons MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY FOR A CHANCE OF DROP, or to GRIND THE MATS TO MAKE THE GEAR, and then you had to grind the Enhancement Materials to + enhance your armor, similar to how ToS does it, and that was a MASSIVE GRIND!

RO2? Of course it does Baka! It MASSIVELY FAILED! Its a wonder the servers are even still ONLINE IN THE WEST!

unsheathes Excalibur, and does a V slash banishing the Baka known as meiohjp and hes outta heeeeeeeeeeeeerreeee!

I dont get it. You want new players to skip all the old content to get to new content? I dont see the point.

Its already easier to lvl new chars with the exp penalty changes. Not to mention the dungeon resets we get with the event right now.

seriously, the game wont be alive until they fix the balances…
they promised 80 player classes, not 8 fcuking meta!

the exp penalty changes is a given, queue dun/mission-anywhere is another given function, fps improvement is a given…
all these is not IMC listening to the players
its a freaking crucial function that they didn’t put into game in first place

the quest so far is okay, but u get bored solo coz 2016-mmo-player don’t party quest until you’re fcuked !
I tried talking to random player I saw questing on the same field, but I guess everyone either maximizing their leveling-efficiency or they are fcuking bot!

rank8 force you to party?! they should force people to party since rank1 already!

I have more fun playing San Andreas than this TOS, if I ever want to play solo game

Instead of faster content, I’ll take more content. Plenty of maps to run through sub level 150, but past that is pretty much 1 path.

We just need alternative storylines and quests so players will not feel bored when leveling a new character. Like each character only covers 25% of the storyline, and every new character the player creates 25% more of the story will be uncovered.

  • Team shared adventure journal, map completion and monster kills
  • Storyline bonuses carry across all characters in team
  • Main storyline completes within 4 characters so F2P can complete the storyline
  • Sub storylines for players who want to buy into more characters. Like side quests stories which span across 10-15 maps.
  • Introduce helper items such as the event Zemyna necklaces for players who reroll into new characters, like necklaces are equippable until level 200.
  • Team bonuses revamp, which includes additional base stats, secondary stats as players go through more quests

The aim is to make ToS into a more immersive environment where players feel that rerolling is part of the “journey” in enjoying in this game rather than a chore.

Like for instance, Tenet Church

  • Character A (Main) - Gesti’s invasion of church quest

  • Character B (Alt1) - What happens after Gesti’s plan got thwarted? Why the church has so many demons? New quest line to find out more

  • Character C (Alt2) - Turns out this new Cult of Gesti is taking over the church and is hatching a more sinister plan, New quest line

  • Character D (Alt3) - After defeating the cult, how to deal with the aftermath where believers want to reinstate the church. New quest line

  • Character E (Alt5 and above) - Recurring quests on building back the church. Gains favor points which decreases cost of attribute learning for all characters.

Each additional storyline features new bosses, bonuses for the team when completed instead of the revelation cutscene. Like the above, each completion from Alt1-3 will give the entire team a +1 to all stats, making it +3 to all stats upon completing the entire storyline with 4 characters.

So much better than re-running the same old storyline each and every playthrough, as if time has rewind and the world is individual to each and every character in our team “family”.
