Report Market Feature - Officialy The Worst Idea IMC Has Had Yet

Please take a moment to reply or start another thread, this can not stay in place for more then a few days without absolutely destroying the market and freezing our items in limbo for 3 weeks while the games 2 gms sort through the 10s of 1000s falsely reported items.
The market is currently controlled by 0.5% of the player base, the world boss mafia, they will simply get 5 of their buddies and report any competing items, and on the flip side, people that want to get a petamion for 4mil will just start recruiting their friends to report all the legitimately priced petamions.
Stop the madness IMC, its not paranoia, this game is in actual, REAL danger of dying, and you are digging the grave deeper every week.

Market Manager will just simply lose his job. No biggie.

Nuu, not Logi-senpai. ;-; he hasn’t noticed me yet.

In my opinion IMC should focus 100% on combating BOTs, the illegal black market of RMT only happens because someone is using BOT, if no one use illegal softwares all the others restrictions are non sense and unnecessary.

The idea of community help is OK, but how a player or IMC will know if the person is a silver buyer or just a friend helping another friend?

Is donate silver to another player via market illegal?

Not surprised with this kind of Rants even though it hasn’t been implemented yet.

i already saw other RMT Groups crying because of the upcoming Market Report Feature.

Market Report Function
A new function for reporting RMT has been added to the Market.

  • The purpose of this function is to report suspected RMT items, i.e. items registered in the Market with incorrect prices with the intent of being used in real currency transactions (gold sellers, etc.).
  • Each item can only be reported once by the same account.
  • After an item is over the certain number of reports, the item will be evaluated and processed by a GM.
  • Market report system will also have RII applied similar to Bot reporting system.

We will make another announcement about this new function with more details soon.

further detail will be announce, also, it’s worth mentioning RII will be applied for this. no matter how many times a player or these ‘MAFIA’ you are referring to report an item. it won’t be valid because their RII will be low, thus, will be fully ignored if they continuously report invalid items.

True, first weeks might be hard, but it’s just the beginning, being negative won’t help.

You can’t have a Fruit from a Tree the day you planted it. you have to wait…

Or, just, y’know. Ban the idiots who use RMT as a crutch because ‘they have a wife and kids’. People won’t buy silver if you downright say: Buying Silver will result in a Permanent Ban.

The worst idea was listening to the players and decreasing the early access from 3 months to 1.

People can just bank “good” RII and leash out their reports at any given time…it doesn’t matter if its first, second or third week.

People actually use the AH? I thought this was Tree of Talt and all trading was done through megaphones…

if they does 'BANK GOOD RII" that does mean they also contributed in catching RMT trades. if they unleash/use those Good RII points in false RMT deals. who’s lost is it? the item that got reported? which had only been put into ''hold" and currently waiting for GM to release it?

as the O.T placed an example of petamion with 4mil. let me insert this

  • After an item is over the certain number of reports, the item will be evaluated and processed by a GM.

so if 5 people reported my item being sold for 3.5m (lower value) or 4.5m (higher value) it will be put on hold?

“Further instructions will be posted soon”, if it indeed was the case, that’s a big crap. but until then, they already have the ‘market pricing limit’ as price basis.

surely a ‘LITTLE’ less/greater than Value will be ignored. unless you place a 20m petamion recipe.

“People can just bank “good” RII and leash out their reports at any given time”

Dude this is the WORST ■■■■ I HAVE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE TREE OF SAVIOR TIME.

People banking RII to slash a market price,
OKEY LET ME WORK WITH YOUR LOGIC

I will bank RII for weeks while reporting bots
and after so much “RII Banked” (and you say that as if IMC gives me a RII-meter to let me know how much RII i have)
I will slash all it (as if it was a Mortal Kombat special attack or even a kamehameha) in those warlock that kills me every time in pvp to GM ban them all

This community is a laughing stock.
You are ridiculous
As they said, the worst thing IMC have done its to release the game too early to dumbasses like you

I’ve gotta agree if we’re going to give so much power to the players in reporting bots, perhaps the GMs should find some cheap volunteers without guild affiliations just interested in patrolling maps. It seems like we’re already doing their jobs anyway, and I guess they can’t afford a few more employees to do so.

If we look at the success of bot reporting already, it isn’t very high. You still have the same bots with regular names (Snowdance, Momohime, etc.) running around because they do not appear easily as bots with names like djfhsjdhfjsdf. I mean those guys are even famous thanks to the forums. There’s more who haven’t even hit the lime light. I have to wonder though if there’s a reason beyond that as to why particular ones haven’t been banned…

Anyway, I don’t see this going well. For anyone who has a bunch of friends/guild mates and wants to control the market on something, this is a decent way of doing it. Not fool proof but certainly helps. I guess we have no choice though (despite being the people who pay, ha) and shall have to witness the results.

IMC should better delete trade function and delete auction NPC, also delete money from game and equip from game it would difinately help. Also they should delete levels and exp bars because of game drivers. And then delete game because of bots. Stupid management -> pain for others. Awesome game core and retard-management.

Yep that’s exactly what I just said, except I didn’t sound cringy as f.

If they implement the RII system similar to bot reporting, why couldn’t that happen?

There is no need to be so damn aggressive.

Please limit the Market price for those who post on the market to 5M. Otherwise, if they plan to sell it for more than that, they should use the Megaphone. It’s not that all players can have more than 5M. It just makes starting players start to quit because of uber high priced items. Also, the penalty of potential should not be reduced when you purchase it because it was not a P2P trade anyway. High price + potentail loss + High commission fee = players losing interest and quitting. Please help other players enjoy the game with minimal headaches. Thank you!
