Yes like the tittle says, the report a bot function needs some kind of extended options. Im saying this because i mean i found some Team and Character names that are not kid friendly to say the least. Do not get me wrong i giggle at some of them as im an adult and find some of the dark humor funny, but lets be real not everyone here is 20+. Lest at least be civil.
In other words, you just want to report players with suggestive names.
And I thought people had better things to do.
He has a point here. This game is not scarlet blade, it is not an adult mmo. As such, there should be restrictions on names that are suggestive or straight explicit. However, i do suggest to give a warning to players with suggestive names and give them at least a chance to rename their character in an event such as this.
I find BowJob a suitable name for a fletcher. Stop overthinking with your own dirty mind. Just read it as is, not as you assume it.
The fact that this game is rated T means you are expected to see some curse words or suggestive themes.
I agree that there shouldn’t be racist or degrading types of names or whatnot, but if you’re offended by BowJob, you have some serious problems. Let the GM’s decide if they need to change their names or whatnot.
No need to start reporting everybody you find offensive. The report is for bots.
People are so sensitive nowadays.
Sure because BowJob is not the obvious substitute of B.lowJob that everybody tries to use on MMO’s in order to bypass the naming restrictions not to mention the character name is IloveBowJob. what exactly is a bowjob again?
amen to this.
i mean yeesh, who are we protecting -from- this? it’s mostly the kids that are committing it, so it hardly seems like the “protecting” would have any real effect.
Learn to understand context, i clearly said i dont mind it at all.
Um… crude humor? I dunno.
Civility and sensitivity are very different, just cuz i dont feel the need to act like my younger immature self which i outgrew dont mean im a sensitive person imo. Hey in my book if you want to be a tool and a clown go for it.
ESRB doesnt rate online component of the game, possible player interactions and online experience. Simply because those cannot be rated a vary greatly depending on the community.
If that was the case, why does this game have an ESRB rating? lol.
It’s 100% online.
The rating fixes more on the content of the game. In other words, the story, the blood, not the interactions of the people involved (the players). For someone quoting it, you know very little about it.
ESRB only rates the game content, as in the UI, quests, and everything that IMC provides for the game. It doesn’t cover what players might choose for their names, or what they say in chat.
Exactly my thoughts. Also, just because I don’t mind crude humor and suggestive names doesn’t make it right for IMC to allow them in the game.
It was a rhetorical answer, not literal. You’re either extremely naive or ignorant if you play MMO’s not expecting to run into some players who use suggestive names.
People have been doing this since the beginning of MMO’s. Even developers.
It doesn’t harm anybody but the overly sensitive.
which would look alot like medieval witch hunt.
Sure sure, more like i wanted to sound smart but looked like a fool on paper.
Nice assumption got any proof to follow your claims?
Found the north korean
Let’s report people for using Maledic as a weapon while we’re at it.
