how are swordies even useless? they provide good dps, sure it not as good as wiz or archer, but wiz and archer dmg are ridicoulously op anyway

normal pvp queues in other games have a lvl range for pvp. lowbies with lowbies, middies with middies, and highbies with highbies.

check the league again, there are R5 that was on the top 50.
better delete your char and make a new R5 class that can win TBL
most of the problem comes from people who are forcing their character to play TBL when they were built for PvE.

well dont blame it on r5 if you cant win with them around, i know 3 rank 5 that belongs to top 50 in last week’s ranking, and one of them is in rank 50up(though i hate r5 swordies) again. so just bear with it and some of them want points too.
removing is not the solution, what would be better is to create a seperate queueing system that depends on your rank

From a cleric2priest3 that ranked in top 100 last week, still in top 100 this week too lololol

On a serious note, SorcAlche builds with linker are kinda OK.
On topic, R5 Clerics seems ok, especially the Cleric2 Diev3 or Priest3 builds. They’re nearly but not more than useful as the R6 ones.
Other classes are kinda situational. Some wiz builds can work out alright at R5. Archers and swordies at that rank level will just be handicaps.
I think the weekly 300 battle points forced most of these (especially non-PVP build) R5s to join TBL in the hopes of getting lucky matches and reaching the weekly 15-win quota.
My best advice for R5s though is to use the time spent participating in TBL (and usually losing) to grind/quest further instead until you hit R6. A few more levels and you’ll hit the exp reset (lv.187 I think?) which should allow you to acquire more stat and skill points at a short time (you’ll easily shoot up to 200). Most builds only start to shine at R6, especially for archers and wiz.
Why IMC thought setting the TBL minimum at R5 is beyond me. It seems they don’t know their own game that much. XD
It is like this in many other games too.
You can be below the recommended lvl as a supporter, cause you dont need to hit mobs or players. The lvl difference-based effects are whats bashing low ranks.
And for clerics here, Cleric2 combined with either Priest3 or Diev3 are somewhat cores of support. They already have whats important without touching higher ranks. And many of them are CON heavy plate wearers.
