As it stands, the game runs horribly overall.
While the scenery is amazing, at times it’s too much for some computers to handle.
Even with the “low-performance” selection, the particles and such from traps, monster attacks, and player skills all combine with the poor optimization and reduce the framerate into the single digits.
My suggestion is to have the choice to remove all the fancy effects entirely and only do the bare minimum. Even if it looks ugly in comparison, players with lower-end computers will thank you.
