We don’t even know what other class rank 8 will look like yet.
That’s only true to some extent. Some wizard builds got killed.
Pardoner already eliminates the prospect of Paladin3 ever seing ET from the inside and cuts into the viability of builds including Krivis as well.
The cooldown idea is good, but it must be applied party-wide. Otherwise you could just do a scroll rotation. And the CD should be atleast 3 times as long as the duration of the buff.
Now with a system similiar to Pardoner introduced for Wizard skills, the worries of the support classes are justified. Why take builds based on these classes into ET or whetever future endgame content comes? Even if less powerful due to lack of attributes, you can take another full DD/CC as the replacement of the support Wiz.
Pardoner already showed the dark side of the scroll system. To see IMC screwing Wizard as well is evidence of them not playing their own game.

I just think it’s funny how IMC created a broken class called Pardoner, and instead of fixing it by tweaking a single skill… They decided to create another class following basically the same idea. 
But let’s see how it goes. Ppl are getting mad about the “Wizard Rank 8”, but forget there are several other classes to be revealed. That’s right, the sheetstorm is only in the beginning.

I really don’t care how OP the rank 8 classes are. Rank 6 and 7 were pretty OP too. I just don’t like that they made a rank 8 class a completely broken concept that they’ve already proven they can’t make work right.

Pardoners were only mildly problematic, then they went and added Barriers as a scroll option in a patch and that was that.
Chaplain guarantees Priest C3’s safety.
The only thing that protects Krivis C3, is Melstis, and its not a skill for scrubs.
Though I suppose Melstis power alone regardless of whether anyone uses it or not means Krivis is in a healthy place.
Another way to put it, when C3’s get copied you’re stepping on toes.
ahh lvl 5 joint penalty scroll, how much would that be? 5k per use? wow! now that is some silver sinkhole
Yeah Level 1 Scrolled Joint Penalty gonna break the meta.

if the joint penalty can become a skill scroll,it would be good for linkers because they can double cast the same skill and other wizard’s skill crolls with the same class skill because they can still double cast. skill scroll do not share the same cool down as actual skills. i tested it out with aukaras with krivis class and the same with the paladins turn undead. pardon my bad engrishh
Until everybody has the scroll in a group and you can use it 5 times, whats yoru linker worth then? nothing.

Some people prefer to just buy scrolls, other prefer an actual character doing it. They all have their reasons, if it’s good or bad it can vary; either way I’m honestly more interested in a Linker using scrolls to double down rather than selling them, that’s their job after all they may as well do it better and Scrolls can help them do that as well as it can help people use them, they also keep their atributes which is solid.
Honestly the main problem here is the players’ attitute, sure it has implementation issues but geez calm down a little would you, we go through some variant of this every single time big balances or a new circle happen.
When I saw the R8 wizzard classes announcement and read about Echanter I was like " WTF "
Pardoner skill scroll is shiet.
They should be out of game or reworked deeply.
And what we are just getting ? Echanter @Pardonner for wizzard.
Are devellopers serious ? I can understand that they have 0 ideas but better have no idea than this enchanter.
I hope they will understand that this merchant class is a class killer. At least if the Pardoner and Echanter sell some skill that are not relate to other classes that would be ok. But by selling other class skill scroll like PALADIN BARRIER , IMC made the paladin class useless. We are about to have the same for mages. I hope everyone will realize that.
Like a lot of poeple we prefer see on ITOS only sage released for mage and no Enchanter, considering what it’s about now. ( magic scroll selling )

until you ask to join a party and the party leader says, nope only pure dps people, because we already got scrolls for that. and boots you out directly.

Well, cue why I prefer to make the party myself.
Honestly it’s surprisingly easy it is to fill a party sometimes due so much people is being denied of one.
That doesnt win you a penny if people dont join your party.

They wheren’t searching for one anyways, meaning they didn’t have an issue.
Scrolls are both a good and a bad. Ideally they’re there so you’re never particularly alone or gimped. In THOUGHT a system that sells weakened abilities of spells should be fine because they’d still warrant stronger buff mechanics without being completely lucked out.
And while people say Daino hurts Krivis’ viability, they’re so early and they’re more a building block Cleric that most people could incorporate: Priests are more defensive specs and Krivis are slightly more offensive spec while Cleric themselves are mixed. You don’t really call out for Krivis, but if you happen to have one you feel relieved. Also it’s not like I’ve seen a decline in Krivis at all because Daino is scrollable.
NOW. Whoever thought that giving a later class’ powerspike (Paladin from R4 to R6 is a pretty lengthy investment, not the worse but it’s up there) to everyone deserves tastebuds in their sphincter. That’d be like giving everyone Stoneskin or having everyone construct Base Camps.
But I do like how people care only now that they feel threatened. Become one with me, your neighborhood Paladin.
