After all the test and build these days I see many player reroll for the classes that is META.
I have to remind you guys that IMC is still balancing those skills which you may think are useless or OP,
For those players have already make up their mind, the reroll EVENT may not be held again in future.
So I hope everyone keep their LOVE BUILDS before the maintenance finished.
P.S. Those players who love META builds are excluded.
Meta now is just +15 high trans weapons, doesn’t matter the build, you even can go rainbow. As long as u have u 315 orange 5 trans, you’re fine with any build
That, in a way, is a good thing, right? 
It just basically means builds that were never played before are now actually viable and builds that were already viable just became stronger, at least in my point of view.
i guess, in some way this is good, but in other one not. Don’t like the game has become so gear dependent. Even more, it’s not the whole gear, the monsters doesn’t hit that hard anymore, you don’t need good armor, just a good weapon and u can clear all content.
Quest content indeed became a joke past the rework, but HGs punish you if you go too reckless.
It’s more likely for a meta build to stay meta than a shitty build to get good with buffs.
Investing in hipster builds out of fear of the nerf hammer is just dumb considering IMC’s balancing history.
Following your advice will net you with months using a shitty build that may or may not get better, all while you could be using a decent build that most likely won’t get nerfed PvE wise.
The thing is IMC looks at databases, not player feedback.
Check their most recent FAQ to read more.
They analyze that server X has billions of silvers.
They realize they need to somehow sink it into the game, so anvil RNG was made popular.
The major issue is that most of the pocketed silver on servers is not spread out, but pooled into the pockets of a handful of players.
So when IMC nerfs a class because these handful of whales post videos of critting 555,555 the rest of the playerbase who aren’t whales feel it the worst.
So right now if your PD2Saddhu3 or Warlock2Elementalist or FF2Thauma2 feels solid, just beware. IMC won’t look into your class for a long time to make fixes or buffs. It will only nerf them. But you have months before that happens, but down the line they will break your class and give you no reset for it because IMC loves to make small changes here and there, so they don’t have to justify a skill / rank reset.
So the solid thing is to roll whatever you like the most and then wait 4 months for IMC to finally play your class and realize just how shitty it is and you will gain buffs.
You don’t need to be a whale to get dmg cap on a lot of classes. I myself have invested 0 dollars outside of one first token and a penguin and am able to hit dmg cap on my main. Heck, it doesn’t even have stellar gear, just what a gamer with a life can afford.
I just gotta hate the mentality behind “only whales get strong”. Yeah if you aren’t a whale or a multi-necro farmer you won’t get a +26 double practo trans 10 weapon, but you can still climb solmiki, do WBs, do guild raids, get high PvP ranks with affordable gear with enough effort in the game. Like 5k P/Matk is enough to do anything in the game.

Sadhu was extremely bad for months until now it received some love and then became meta because it turned out to be really good, it might get nerfed in some months from here but it was about time they dig them out of their grave.

I’m sure if you’re NEET enough you can rival whales, I’ll give you that. However most classes got severely nerfed that you’ll hardly ever see people play them again.

The point isn’t “oh maybe this build will be OP some day” it’s “I really like the theme/playstyle of this build so I’ll play it”. OP meta builds get nerfed in this game pretty routinely, every new rank has totally shifted the meta so far. Meanwhile people who just play their favorite not-meta build don’t have to worry about nerfs, and any buffs are just a bonus.
