Hi guys, since the update in the drop system is a new feature and corsair’s latest pillage attribute also is (update from Mar 2017) I would like to discuss and reunite some information for public utility.
Some points:
- Does the Attribute means Jolly Roger isn’t necessary anymore for pillaging enemies?
- Does it work by hitting, damaging, or killing?
- How it used to be with the old drop system?
- Is Pillaging similar to the Oracle clairvoyance/change drop skill
- Can I steal 2 times the same monster?
And the most important:
- Does it scales with the new drop system? (chance of dropping = 1/TotalDrop-NumberOfKilledEnemies)
So far I think these questions are the most common ones a player would think of, feel free to add more questions down below.
- 1: Yes the attribute means you AND YOUR PARTY don’t need Jolly Roger in order to pillage enemies.
- 2: It looks like it works by Hitting the enemy. Each hit you have a chance to drop the item that the enemy was supposed to drop when dying (need confirmation by an oracle for this but I’m 70% sure)
- 3: Have no answer.
- 4: Some players confirmed that each “change drop” counts as 1 kill in DPK system. Although I don’t know yet if pillaging works like this too.
- 5: No, I’ve tested it waiting the enemy heal and trying to steal multiple times and it looks like you cant.
- 6: About the new drop system, I also really don’t know.
