Regional costumes ^_^

The costume reward for wizard is like semi inspired chinese dress…

can we have something similar to it someday for female swordsman class??
pls…

I don’t mind if it would be a reward or tp if tp shop as long as the design is good a bit of chinese dress from long to something short… I’ll buy it…

while on the subject… the hanbok dress was one thing… wish you could expand the costume for regional dress and clothes too…

i want chinese dress for my spear woman

please and thank you

Why not adding european ones aswell? : ) We already have Lithuanian ones (Jurus & Jura). In my opinion Eastern Europe has the most beatiful costumes in the world. For example: Belarusian, Erzyan or Udmurt. Those costumes would also fit into the lore since game is based on balto-slavic culture & mythology.

I can get behind Eastern European costumes but just want to suggest we avoid American and central European costumes for the time-being.

If the game does in the future expand to a new continent, it would be nice for the game to have untapped resources of culture/visuals to draw from. Heading to a new continent and finding German gothic architecture, a new Halbedier class, and whatever else people can come up with for Europe. That would be nice.

Granted we have fencers and musketeers which are very very European in the first place. But still. They’ve done a pretty good job of not making those feel like they’re from any specific country. They fit into tos’ unique culture pretty naturally.

I think it would fit archers more…

Oktober fest costume for everyone.

glad to see people like chinese style fashions…! I want them too, more detailed and pretty ones aaa

Keeping immersion outfits is kind of moot when they didn’t hesitate to appeal to the seifuku moe culture lmao.

i wanted one for my spear girl  im that greedy LOL

If we’re talking about architecture, tos one isn’t baltic or slavic at all. There should be wooden buildings but instead we have stone ones. Also the “temples” looks like catholic churches not pagan temples like this. So I dont think that waiting for new continent to add other cultures costumes is neccessery since tos world already don’t belong to one specific culture type.

I think you might have misunderstood me. I did not say that it was, or is. The current continent still has a distinct style and the game should be careful to avoid losing future uniqueness by making too. The tos world clearly has a Italian/catholic culture and architecture combined with Lithuanian mythology. While the tombs clearly have Egyptian influence, particularly as everything is fond of pictoral depictions.

We’ve gone very heavily Eastern already with a lot of cosmetic costumes and it’s clearly eating away at the aesthetic of the game. I can let the TP costumes slide though as they’re not-canon. But it is fairly important for the things that actually do exist within the game.

Like I said above, if we get a new continent, or even a new city with deeply different architecture, my objection to a deeply different aesthetic for a class will disappear as it will clearly be from a far away location to what we have typically played through and understood as part of the existing world.

This is what men want.

ah when i said regional… i meant not in game and just as tp costumes :sob:
I’ll sample one… hambok costume that was sold before in tp has no relevance to any place within tos so far i explored…
i was just suggesting for a tp costume for us to buy…
hanbok is a traditional and regional costume of korea… thats why i said regional…

so i was suggesting why not just sell regional costumes of the world in tp…

miko class has the red hakama (long red slightly pleated skirt) and a haori white kimono jacket.

I also would like to see if they sell in tp kimonos someday…
as i said… regional costumes…

so people can literally cosplay what they want in tos… and be happy about it…

Sorry I just wanted to clarify it to all in here… hope you guys understand :sob:

Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival is almost folcloric in Brazil!

Exactly!
