Yes the gold sellers can sell the characters that have the gold on them.and here you fo you have a starting character that have 100000+++ of silver on it.
So you played onlly one mmorpg and its not even the same as tso but think you know what will and will not work? Or what whas the point of this?
on the contrary it is quite insignificant actually, it just was IMC games first mmorpg which your’s truly had remained loyal unto for a half a decade. Granado Espada has no significance to Tree of Savior as it was just another mmorpg for any developer. If fact there is no way their previous endeavor and history from such aged game should affect the current game. there is no relationship betwen Tree of Savior and Granado Espada as such you can rest your mind.
With that said, I suppose you have grand experience in the profession mr lans? care to educate us?
as you have stated yourself
-
crafting classes are OP
-
premium hair and costumes are OP
-
MOBA should be a core feature of a successful MMORPG
yet of all our disagreements upon your topics, mr lans, you have deemed ‘unintelligent’. Despite this you insist that your proposals is the best solution for IMC game’s success. Irregardless of ire and distaste upon the many patrons of this said forum.
also i suppose you could lend a hand and educate the poor souls at the other popular ToS fansites tosbase, tosgame, and /r/treeofsavior that they may also be enlightened by your teachings great professor lans. they would clearly appreciate your kind words of wisdom.
I wouldn’t say that gold sellers and RMT are a boogeyman that they should ignore, since it is a legitimate problem.
But I WOULD say that it still isn’t a valid excuse, and that are being paid to think of creative ideas to combat this problem and not try and solve it in such an obnoxious and self-serving way. (Obnoxious to innocent players; self-serving as it is an easy way out to earn money)
Ok you go on and on the same trolling things.
I didnt say that crafting classes are op onlly that all the 4 starting classes need to have them all.all 4.
Where the ■■■■ did i say premium hair and costumes are OP?are you that bad at reading and understanding? If my bad English is the reason i am sorry. I did say premium services are p2w not the costumes.if the onlly way to have any form of trading is from cash shop its p2w.
I did say from the start and the god know how much times that i want a moba MODE for pvp.i didnt say that the game need to be a 100% moba, i dont want it.
So let do this one mire time.
How old are you
Where you from
Where you work.
nay! sir lans, such demise is brought unto thee by thou action and words taketh none other than yourself. you need not to place blame upon others as you yourself consider us of less wit than thee. for instance you refuse to take into mind the logic and proper manners of speech and grammar. in fact your use of such foul words deem you unfit upon formal occasion. take caution sir lans, as this realm that speak upon is so too shared upon the many lives that dwell this page.
now unto the matter at hand, I present these evidence of your words themselves speaking of such things.
https://forum.treeofsavior.com/t/imc-want-the-game-to-work-in-the-long-run/126334
yet thou has wash thy hand with innocence upon the matter? can you not recognized the very words that you wrote? do not hold it against me sir lans, as these very words are came your very tongue.
I am under no circumstance am I to giveth credentials, for you have no authority to demand such thing.
Do taketh note sir lans, that your have such great wisdom. Do not let my words hinder your genius. Spread unto the world such magnificent realm of ideas only grand geniuses such as only you can muster. it thus amuses an audience.
Ok i understand where the confusion is.
“then there is a really big p2w”.what i wanted to say was this. THEN there on top of the expansive cosmetic items there a big p2w. The cosmetic items are in no way p2w. I hope we will get over this mis understanding.
As for demanding , i demand nothing onlly asking.
I just want to see and understand where you coming from.
I love how you can always sum down such statements as:
“There is nothing certain and we will state nothing, but we will consider all of your thoughts in future decisions!!!”
</->- random press spokesman
And yet I’m still expecting to get any valuable info from such statements even knowing that this kind of promises never can be made.
Its just some dry bread to cool down the hungry mob.
I’m imaginating stuff like that here xD:
“Hey John, the users are panicking over the kobt stuff”
“Uh… ok lets state some obvious facts to cool them down”
“Are you sure? We don’t know a thing for certain here as well. Don’t you think thats… a bit cheap?”
“Thats why these are obvious facts!! I won’t put my head above the parapet, just remind them that we aren’t stupid enough to get our future players mad for nothing. They seem to forget that easily”
Conclusion: Have some faith, guys~
Nothing in the Korean item Mall is ‘P2W’.
EXP Boost’s are a convenience item, not P2W. Everyone will hit the same level cap regardless, some will just get there faster and this is not in any way impossible for someone who doesn’t use exp boosts.
P2W is the ability to get to a point where someone who does not pay cannot. Convenience for time items are fine, and i think people should stop whining about that.
As for the market board TP costs. Thats not P2W either, since those playing the game can buy tokens with silver anyway and with the amount of people who will be willing to sell them will be high.
Honestly, the only thing i find expensive is the cosmetic hairstyles, those prices need to come down a lot for them to even begin to be a viable purchase.
Keep in mind Nexon KR has control on some of the pricing, and this is a restraint that the international version may not face.
Hopes for the best anyway~
This is pay to win since if I spend $1000 and sell tokens for silver, i’ll have tons of silver, than tons of top gear. Top items would be sold by ridiculous price and market will inflate until normal players need to play for months to get a good gear if they don’t sell cash items.
Pay to win or not tons of games ends for this reason.
That is not pay to win. That is pay for convenience. You can get your gear, you just have to grind for it as opposed to buying it from the market board.
Like i said “Pay to win is to achieve something a non paying player cannot achieve”.
You can achieve exactly what a paying player can, but yours will take longer and that is the only difference.
with that logic it would mean that anything thats available in the cash shop, and is tradable, is P2W.
Exactly.
This game has no “Pay to win” items at all.
People feel that “progressing faster = winning” it’s not at all. It just means they will get to the same point you will faster than you.
But i like the fact you understand exactly what i explained, so huge compliment to you!.
P2W = equipment you buy that is stronger than anything you can get in the game normally, or buffs that give you an advantage in combat over others.
This
Actually if i cant buy this Token type “TP shop” stuffs with ingame currency this is P2W
Since i can buy it with silvers this is not P2W… This is “Pay or Play to Win”
Ps: Payer win + Player win + IMC win = Triple win ?
Lol its so convenient to have no normal trading lol.
If imc do thin here as well i hope you will be as hapy its so convenient to have the worst mmo trading ever.
I agree and thats a good thing. What chaps me is the pay gating of features like trading and a proper market.
I’m only worried about the cosmetic items being too expensive for my pocket, specially since MXN is currently devaluating fast as hell in front of USD.
Forgive me, I want to look nice, premium nice :'c
I can only imagine premium items will be less expensive than the Korean ones. The economy is not exactly great for most people to warrant such prices. It’s better to sell lots of cheap items than a fewer expensive items. If they do end up being just as expensive, they should have sales to pressure people into buying more.
