Regarding the Hoglan pet [AKA Potato]

Okay so… Hoglan

Everyone knows this is a simple and common pet found pretty much all over the land. Its a simple starter unit that comes with most accountholders that decided to buy a Founder’s pack.

Am i the only one who sees it as ugly?

I mean…its a Platypus…
You know how god took a bunch of thingsin a blender and made the platypus? You took it to the next level.

Why not a cute Kepa? Or a little Sheep?
Why not a fawking Bearkras.
Why not a Tama?

Why the Hoglan…? What makes it adorable, attractive or interesting?
Its a grassy looking beast with 4 eyes, 3 horns and definetly not sleek.
Its a god damn potato.

Maybe some people disagree, and find it cute, lovely and unbearably adorable…You guys can keep it.

I’m just wondering, which designer decided to make the Hoglan… a pet?
And who decided it was a good idea?

You know… it is sad that you say that…

The Hoglan, it was at your side since the beginning. You couldn’t see, but it was there, guarding you against the evil forces. Until you summoned it, it was protecting your soul all the time.

But one day, you found the chance to make the Hoglan appear by your side. Now, it is not just protecting your soul without you seeing, it is protecting you from anything and everything, besides, it keeps you company on your long and lonely journey.

The Hoglan didn’t ask you nothing. He just took the damage from your enemies, attacked them to help you, and kept following you everywhere.

For the Hoglan, it doesn’t matter that you don’t feed it. It keeps going. It doesn’t matter if you give it a terrible name. It keeps going. No matter how much hate you give it. It keeps going…

And everytime you look at it. Its big yellow eyes just show its respect, care and love for its Master. On its beak you can see a big smile, that reflects its disposition to make you happy and give you strength. Besides that, its body, round and fluffy, is made specially for you to rest when you are tired during long travels (and confortable when you ride it).

Besides that, no matter which body (character) you are using, it stays with you. And gives you its experience to help your new bodies (characters, and Team Level) grow their strength.

Even if it does all this for you… you call it ugly, but the Hoglan doesn’t care, because, for it, all is good if you are safe…

PS: I’m bored, that’s why.

When you put it that way… <_< It seems kinda stupid.
Mounting your cute little dumb onion… worse than mounting a Potato.

Maybe as a pet only but not a mount @_@ unless it made your characters cry while you rode them. XD
