I’ve only played like 13 hours and gave this game a shot but it is literally impossible to play with all the recent disconnects and lag spikes. I asked steam for my refund as I DID NOT use my DLC item but they are still set on the 2-hour thing. I

If you read on the early access DLCs they say NONE REFUNDABLE on them under the price.
So you will probably have a up hill battle ahead of you.
Your problem with the game is the server issues, and not the game itself, so try giving it one more chance. Come back in 7 days and see if things are better for you (I’m assuming you live in NA or EU). If it’s still unplayable, then you can give up.

There were big yellow letters stating that this items in non refundable just before you clicked the purchase button. Even if the game fails in other areas you still can’t refund it.
That’s sad… Can’t even get money back on a product they stated would work.

Actually it isn’t sad at all. This is a paid early access an unreleased game. In short we are still in beta / development.
It really buffles me that people expected the smoothest experience and now cry for spending 10 - 45$ for exactly what was advertised.

Oh I see… given I have a 100 Mbps internet connection and a PC that is custom built to run 100 times the requirements this game but yet it still doesn’t work I am crying… ah I see. Just wanted to make sure.
With that superfast connection and awesome custom built you couldn’t tell that this is a Beta? Is this your first early access? Release will be way worse than this month when it goes free to play.
And even then you were warned from steam that this purchase is not refundable…
Figured if I am paying $50 i’d get something I could play. What did they make? Millions or A Million on this game but can’t afford a few extra servers? Just confusing to me.
Keep playing ya? I bought a $50 one, and same as everybody else, I get fps drops and lag, sometimes game is unplayable.
But what did I do? I kept my mouth shut, made fun of those trade whiny kids, and do you know what did I just do?
I bought a steam controller (yes, i went to gamestop and get it) to fully enjoy this game, even doe it’s still buggy af.
Is it more fun with a steam controller?
It can be refund , but your total play-time is just too much
if you play with melee auto-attack class then any controller is fun (I use xb1)
IMC still doesn’t have a proper template for steam controller .But people made quite a lots so you can use those instead.
Ya it improves my gameplay quite a lots, it’s awkward at first, but when you get used to it, you’ll love it.
Most of all, you don’t have to be very near to ur monitor as keyboard or mouse mode, you can sit on the couch, on your bed. Work best if you have a wireless mouse. 10 times the comfortable.
Get it, I recommend it.
I’ll ask IMC to make a proper template after they stable their game, cuz they release their game through steam, so I think they will make one.
Yeah don’t worry, people here are a bit ~biased~ when it comes to imc cashgrabing practices.
If you aren’t refunded, just follow @Sixaxis advice. I can assure you that despite imc unprofessionalism, game is really fun.
Note that you obtained more than $50 worth of cash items/currency with the DLC, so don’t feel too much robbed
