Red spion archers - this issue really needs to be addressed

No, Missile-Neutral as far as i know are only for player archer class. Monsters are Missile-Pierce.

You can easily test this by going to blue spion and equip cloth armor and then leather armor.

Edit: All monsters have a type of damage associated with their attacks, Magic damage,slash,pierce and strike. I never saw any neutral physical damage.

Then that means cloth upper and 2 plate be better in reducing overall damage of spionspiral? Instead of going full plate?

and to add up a lot of Archer(QS3) players might have forgotten that they have this class attribute

Yes, iam pelta3,rodel3, the best way to mitigate damage early is with 3 types of upper armor. even after r8, dungeon monsters and elite/miniboss are best countered with the right armor.
