Recommendations on my build :D

Hi guys, i couldn’t play the closed beta 'cause never got a key, but i’ve been researching in the skill simulator to get a pure AoE build for training with my friends. I’m always going to be with a healer so i was thinking on this build, what do you guys think?

With frenzy and deeds of valor both lvl 10 i think it’s a pretty boost on dmg, and with Cyclone and Seism i think i can get a pretty good AoE damage for luring mobs and then killing.

Hope you guys could help me if i’m doing something wrong or good, thanks in advice :D!

P.D: If you guys could help me too with a Stats build for this kind of skill build would appreciate it a lot!!

Well, to be honesty I’m not a big fan of Deeds of Valor, but since you’ll have a healer in your pocket it can be usefull.

If your goal is pure PVE, you should go Highlander C3 instead of Barbarian C3, because of Skyliner, you’ll get more sustained damage this way. And you can benefit from Highlander’s attribute that raises Two-Handed Sword critical attack by 50%

But for PVP, yeah Barbarian is much better than Highlander.

You should take Peltasta at rank 2 if you’re goin Barbarian C3 or at rank 5 if you’re going Highlander C3. It’ll not only help you with tanking on a party, but when you solo, you’ll get all mob close to each other, so you can Cyclone them, or other AoE skills.

I like Double Pay Earn but you don’t need level 10 for that. I guess level something like 3-5 should be enough. You don’t use it at the beginning of a fight, only when youre about to kill the monster.

swordman c1 + peltesta c1 + highlander c2 + corsair c1 + doppel c2

IS BETTER THAN

swordman c2 + barbarian c3 + doppel c2

TIPS: to play swordman DPS path, highlander c2 is hardly neglected, because it has skyliner 0s cd. furthermore, highlander class when equipped 2 hands sword, your critical attack boosted +50%. that is something you can’t find at other class and you will have more points to invest at STR. barbarian have overall high cd skills and their attacks are normally average (except cleave).

Hello, cool idea for your build. If you’d like some suggestions, I would recommend dropping swordsman c2, and picking up peltasta c1. Swashbuckling is a very important skill for party play as it will allow you to draw large mobs into your aoes, and you will be able to hold aggro. You can also keep your hp increased by 25% with the attribute. I made a swordsman c3 in icbt2 and it is just such an awful class.

If you’re into aoe’s, you could throw one point into giant swing. It’s really fun for class synergy, as you can pick up things like fireballs, and snow rolling and whip them around. You might want to also consider putting more points into the cleave skill. If you stun an enemy with helm chopper, or seism, and then follow with cleave, it has a hidden synergy that will increase its damage by 3x.

Actually Highlander’s attribute doesn’t raise crit chance, it increases crit damage.

That’s what says in Tosbase and in the official korean site

hehe, PVP… swordman class… until now i only see cataphract c3 can actually survive longer if comparing to any other swordman classes. swordman class considers as the worst class among to duel in PVP. archer is slightly better than swordman who can do range hit and cloak ability. no doubt mage and cleric dominate the PVP all the time.

Well, some stuns could help on PVP, but you need low ping to be able to play well with a melee class in PVP.

Besides, remember that ranked PVP is group based. Everything is different on 5v5

Thanks for your tips guys, i’m gonna try that highlander C3 build with peltasta, i will lower the Doble Pay to 5 to be able to add to Zornhau since i read is a good finish move for using with Doble pay. This is what i made so far, let me know your thoughts.

u need cross cut or skyliner is useless, moulinet is awesome too so max it, guardian only lvl 1, and get at least 1 point in zucken. and u dont need crown
also wagon lvl 1 and catar at least 1
