Hi! I’m new to archer but i got some end game gears sitting on my storage, i liked the Mergen alot and i wanna build one.
So can you guys recommend me a good build for Mergen when its released?

what kind of your end game gears do you have? I think many of them are untradable. eg. didel grand cross, glynas set virtov set.
what’s your goal of your future mergen pvp or pve, or you want an archer that doing well with the gears you have.

I wanna do both pvp/pve
Archer > Ranger > Archer c2 > Scout > Fletcher C3?
it lack of aoe but it will be fine if you become mergen.
Scout/Fletcher can use for pvp/wb.
Ranger use for boost dmg (10% steady aim).
Archer 2 use for crit.(shift step)
We have a lot of build. But this one is fletcher meta build for who want to do either pvp/wb. (pve if have mergen)
but i think we need to wait more detail because maybe one of mergen skill can use only while mount (it not suit for scout but who care since mergen have 7 skill we can skip that skill anyway).
Beware that mergen skills are stance restriction if you choose another stance restriction, your weapon of choice’ll be limited
And ktos might rebalance some R8 skills eg. sage at the time we get R8 some skill might different than what we see now
AR2>x>sc1>x>x>x>Mergen is something I can think of
Ar2 for crit buff, heavy shot and fulldraw aren’t bad for soft CC in pvp
sc1 cloaking is essential in pvp
build that’s go with this are
-iToS current fletcher3 meta ranger>ar2>sc1>fletcher3, broad head DoT is nice for pvp magic arrow is great for boss and mergen can help this build weakness of lack of good AoE dmg.
-Machine gun+sc1 build ar2QS3Sc1>x>mergen have nice AA for PvE/boss and had stone shot+pavise for pvp this is one of those popular QS3 build mergen can help the lack of AoE in this build, but personally I don’t like QS3 with mergen because of stance restriction and AA vs skill base class might have difference of stat/gears build.
What’s the ideal stat set up for Ar2-R1-Sc1-Fl3? High Str or High Dex with decent amount of Con or Full Str or Dex?
IMO it depend on gears you have. the dex goal is that you have 70-80+ crit chance vs mob/boss at max level.(need to calculate from buff and maybe buff from friends if you almost alway team together)
con is put to the point that you have enough HP to survive few hits and have chance to get heal from the party.
Depending on your gears. You want High dex since Swift Step benefit from that. Your goal is 500-600 crit rate (with the buff) - atleast 31 cons - 50+ str.
