What is it with this community and attracting idiots?
I wrote the guide on clerics, I know my stuff. So you might want to question why I am stating as such before making such comments.
Zoo builds are deemed dead because:

Both change & Conversion do not work on special mobs, which are now a very large portion of the game. Especially at higher levels to almost exclusively so at rank 8.

The high dmg mobs zoo relied on were the very ones changed into special due to their unusual dmg & health. So this is also a direct nerf to the dmg and health of your summons to boot.

[Bug] For dungeons and missions converted mobs frequently get stuck when you convert more than one enemy at a time. Expect to use 1/5th or 2/5th of your converted mobs at best.

[Bug] Converted mobs still count towards “you need to kill x to advance criteria in missions and dungeons”. Thus using it can’t prevent you from completing specific dungeons & missions.

Converted mobs still despawn if the original mob also got despawned for any reason. (Like almost every mercenary post mission.)

Even when it does work it takes ages to set it up right as you lose them each map.
Ergo, it’s dead.
Conversion/change are in dire need of a buff/rework. The special type introduction royally screwed both over.
