Reborn's Zoo Oracle Build [Conversion Build]

I get it now that under optimal situations possibly but highly unlikely without a long investment in setup time. It was just something I felt people should know before jumping into something like this and wondering why numbers don’t fly off the screen and monsters evaporate in seconds.

What I’m not understanding is the focus on Monstrance adding damage. If there’s one thing I absolutely hate in this game it’s the animation on that spell and it’s randomness of circle placement. I actually tested that while doing Conversion both at 10 and it doesn’t even debuff that much defense. Deprotected Zone at full stacks with low SPR was shaving off on average 200-300 at full stacks with max attribute and I doubt Monstrance even comes close at double the cool down.

Tried the same build previously.

It will be a great build for FS paladin if the bugs are fixed.

At current stage, it is not worth the points as
1- Long setup period
2- Risk of gettng bug
3- Risk of bugged dungeon run

Great when it is fixed and AI improved. But, it just not for now.

Cheers

And the reward for most unique build goes to OP.

Certainly looks fun, and probably really viable if you could get dungeon mobs out and 1 or 2 mobs with the Heal skill and (legally) afk farm/grind with it.

Now I wonder if other buffs will work on them. Revenged sevenfold, zalciai, sacrament, enchant fire? Blessing doesn’t work as posted, but I wonder what other buffs could work on them…

If you change a mob, and it turns into a silver glowing mob, then convert it to an ally… Is it still gonna be a silver glowing mob? If it is, it’s gonna be one hell of a troll. :joy:

Can you show your stats please? I am interested in making this build. Thanks

What would you consider the best str-spr ratio? Con obviously is as comfortable/survivable enough.

This build can easily AFK farm maps, mobs are changed to elite mobs often .

These are my stats with no equip at lvl 256. With equip I wear Plate Armor for Cleric attribute to boost Physical Defense and HP. Also l enchant equip with Physical Attack and SP Recovery.

thanks for the quick reply

another question. does CON do anything aside from survivability? What would be the optimal CON (was thinking 40-60 and yours seem pretty high so I would like to hear your opinions on it)

Con has no synergy with Paladin/Oracle abilities, it’s just for large HP pool. Paladin/Oracle skills are short range melee atks so having more HP is always nice if a shield ability breaks.

Ok, thanks a lot !!!

Oops never mind, its in above post.

So how does it feel for dungeons or general endgame stuff?

What if I don’t want str? Am I in a big trouble?

:UPDATE:
Converted mobs AI now improved. They will follow you consistently, even if converted mob is normally stationary.

This sounds really interesting, converting mobs from Change’s chance of dungeon mobs randomly appearing, huh. Personally I wouldn’t get lv10 Monstrance though o_O.

The reasons Priests don’t level Monstrance isn’t because it’s bad, it’s because the DEX buff doesn’t scale with Monstrance level. I’ve also heard that leveling Monstrance gives it a weirdly longer cast time for no reason (possibly bug).

So, there is no reason to level it past 1, but it is definitely a good skill.

Also, why did you add that much SPR? I don't think you need that much max SP at all at higher levels, and for Monstrance's debuff, it is hard to target against normal monsters (because the circle appears in random places). MDEF from Barrier isn't also a terribly good idea, because MDEF scales very badly in PvM.

Overall I think this build might be better with only STR and ~80 CON… but it really is a pretty good idea.

The buff lasts like 15 seconds too. That’s obscene to have to cast over and over and over again with it’s stupid animation lock. You need to also have Dex yourself for it to even be anything worth a mention which most Clerics don’t dump unless you’re a Monk.

What’s even worse is that not only are the circle placements asburdly random but get consumed when someone steps inside if you actually want to use it for debuffing.

[/quote]It’s 25 with duration attribute. Worth using for anyone with DEX in the party, as it’s a pretty big buff for anyone with DEX, and you can assume most physical attackers will have at least some of it. It’s just annoying to use, not actually not worth using.

That, and if it’s a full support build, what are you going to spend your time where you aren’t healing and buffing with? Autoattacking?

I thought you could jump cancel the animation lock?

And yeah, I’m aware of the debuff circle appearing in random places. Either way the debuff requires SPR to be useful, and the only place you’d want to use it would be bosses anyway - who, if big enough, are hard to miss with the circle even with the random placement.

Can’t cancel monstrance cast animation by jumping (or doing anything), and if a mob hits you, the skill cancels and enters cooldown.
