Reasons to be banned

So i recently had my acnt put into protected Status. I put in a ticket and had repealed. They proceeded to say that my behavior was suspicious and they would be keeping an eye on me.

I have no idea what i did, unless going afk and letting my pet kill stuff is bannable. Didn’t even seem that effective as all the stuff my pet killed seemed to respawn away from me. I did a google search and just got a bunch of people whining about bans. Can anyone list or link me to where it lists bannable actions so i can see what i maybe did wrong.

Lastly, I’m honestly amazed i was banned with the 400 bots that seem to roam around in every good farming zone… Maybe that means they are banning bots? Just level too fast and too numerous to tell?

You can’t afk and have your pet kill stuff. It means you’re macroing or botting.

Sorcerer pet stops attacking after a minute or two if you haven’t performed any offensive action.

Necromancer pets despawn in around 5 minutes, so they constantly need to be recasted.

There are no other pets that are viable to do this with. If you’re using macros or botting, then you’re going to get in trouble.

Reasons are endless, but from what you say the most obvious would be that someone saw you afk with pet killing mobs that person probably needed for a quest or something and it got annoyed and reported you…

get enough reports from all the people you annoyed and boom ban hammer…

or you have awful timing that can be a reason too…

still there should be 2-3 day ban firs , did he get perma?

You can tho. I have a penguin, that i got up to like 5k attack. I can dodge tank while he kills things that randomly agro on to me. The issue i had was their respawn always being outa my range after about 5 minutes. If someone else is killing in the same area tho it worked out just fine. Its not a summoned pet tho. So it takes no micro management. It also never stops attacking, always defends me. Obviously i’m not farming top tier mobs, just some level 100 dudes for random cash and drops.

Judge from the responses tho, being afk is bannable? Reporting anyone can get them banned?

Also yes, i got no 2-3 day ban. I just went straight to protected status with no warning or alerts. I had to google it to even figure out what happened. I went 2 days b4 i realized it wasn’t the servers being down. Didn’t really read the msg at first, just saw it kicked me out of the game each time and figured it was servers.

try to get back into the game and if you cant PM a staff member that isn’t ethan

AFK isn’t ban-able, but if your pet is getting in the way of others then they can report you or get a GM to poof you out…

don’t be lazy next time and play the game and if afk then don’t leave your pet out unsupervised >.>

I’m back, i just didn’t want to mess up again. They didn’t really tell me what i did. So i was just looking for a way to see what isn’t allowed so i don’t do it. I didn’t feel like a penguin killing level 100 dudes was that big a deal, but maybe it was i know i’ve seen people doing it tho. And with all the bots i didn’t figure they would care.
