[Rant] No matter how you see it this was an INCREDIBLY unprofessional release, mostly for NA

Quite the opposite I would say. How many eu players do you think already picked their teamname…on the wrong server?

Nobody could have predicted the influx.

The game is popular, good. It will eventually settle down. Estimation’s are never really correct, or foolproof, but all we can do now is support them while they try to make ammends. Keep it positive guys, theres enough hostility in the forums as it is

please server problem on release is like classic for any mmorpg. Also you loose one day, it’s not that bad. The first hours was unplayable anyway as there were too many people on the starting zone.

While I agree that it was an incredibly unprofessional launch, I think it goes far beyond the point you’re trying to make.

To have players pay money for something that has SO MANY bugs is unreal. The lag isn’t even the unexpected issue. Just so many command errors that close the client and basic beginning quests overrun with bugs and not being functional(without several relog attempts at every turn which 50/50 resolved the issue). It’s like buying a box of broken glass.

I get that it’s technically open beta, but from what I understand these are issues and bugs that have been lingering and unresolved since CLOSED BETA.

The other thing that really got me was their announcement as to why things werent working correctly. They 100% blamed the players for all of their problems. Saying “eager players” are the culprits.

Either way the game is beautiful and an amazing revival of RO. I personally can’t contain my excitement, I just hope they sort out the issues sometime soon. Especially after dropping $50 on it.
