Rank Reset Voucher Problem

After i reset my character, i change my class to cryomancer c1,c2,c3 but i didn’t use all the skill points before i proceed to c2 and c3, those skill points left do not bring forward to c2 and c3. which means now i have lesser skill points. What should i do now??

that’s weird…

im rank 3 c1 cleric and c2 priest with 11 class skill point at c2 priest, when reset i lost that 11 point. only get 30 class skill point.

I can confirm. Was rank 3 priest with 16 skill points. Instant boost to rank 4 priest left me with 30 skill points, it should have been 31. I lost 1 skill point, very critical & now in the process of submitting a ticket.

In addition I lost 6 job levels for rank 4, but that’s less stressful than having to redo an entire character again.

i lost 11 skill point when reset at c2 priest with 11 class lvl…

Update. My ticket was responded to, to my suspicion they utilized a typical copy paste response to this issue.

I am going to submit another ticket being more clear & direct, even referring to this thread. If it is not taken seriously, I am quitting the video game. I will also being leaving a very nasty Steam Review.

It would be a damn shame, because I invested real life currency. I couldn’t possibly keep spitting money into a video game that is absolutely handled so poorly, to the extent that a bug got rid of critical skill points requiring you to delete your days of character leveling & start over again.

You character will reset to Class Level 1 of Rank 1, and you will automatically receive the amount of Rank Cards necessary to return to Class Level 1 of your character’s original Rank. All Rank Cards obtained are bound to the character that receives them and are untradeable.

This mean if you are priest circle 3 with job/class level 2, will reset back to priest circle 3 at job/class level 1. You will get exp card enuf for you to go Priest circle 3 with job/class level 1.

Rank reset will ignore your job/class level except job/class level 15.

Picture already inform it wont preserved your class level.

You must not have been paying attention. Skill Points are capped at 30. There are 8 ranks, and 15 Skill Points for each rank, therefore a total of 120 (15*8) Skill Points exist.

If one did not spend their points, they –critically– lose them & are incapable of earning them –EVER– again. EVER. Unless, you delete your days & perhaps months worth of character time investment.

I don’t find that practice worth investing in, with my time nor my currency.

I give you example based on assumption on your first post

Before reset : Cyro circle 3 at class level 5

Wizard C1 : 15 points
Cyro C1 : 15 points
Cyro C2 : 15 points
Cyro C3 : 5 points

After reset : You will be given exp card can let you go up to Cyro circle 3 at Class Level 1

Wizard C1 : 15 points
Cyro C1 : 15 points
Cyro C2 : 15 points
Cyro C3 : 1 points

So you lost 4 skill points. R you facing this situation?

Thanks @wangpr88 for very detailed explanation.

Hope they will understand.

Doesn’t matter if they understand or not, they will quit anyway because IMC is too lazy to preserve class level data for resets and players are too lazy to grind them back.

No, read the reply again. Job levels –were– lost. That’s not the issue, the primary issue is the Skill Points were lost that should have been there. Skill Points are capped at 30, going over means you permanently lose them.

Dismissing the issue because you are not effected by it is not healthy for the video game.

In depth,

  • Priest C1 – 15 = 15 Skill Points.

  • Priest C2 – 15 = 30 Skill Points.

  • Priest C3 – 1 = 31 Skill Points.

I don’t have that 31, 1 was lost. Apparently they never intended for players to actually hang on to that many skill points for so long?

I think I get what u mean, didn’t encounter that bug, had 45 skill points at one point.

I lost 14 job levels T_T. I basically have to start all over at a base level where things get tricky. I don’t think this item was implemented well. They should still give you your additional job points you had. Ugh, might as well delete my character.
