Rank Reset Voucher for a Rank 4 Elementalist 1?

Hey guys,

Soo, I’m pretty new here-- (Wizard 3, Elementalist 1), and the new Rank Reset Voucher was released. I’ve seen how you should unlock it at Class 15 (? i’m not even sure what class number I am), and I’m really unsure about how to use this thing.

I feel like it would be a waste if I didn’t put this voucher in somewhere. I do regret not getting the Reflect Shield, and wish I I would have put less points in Earthquake/Energy Bolt, but I heard that it might not be worth it unless I’m at Rank 8 or something…

Could someone give me some advice on what to do? Should I reset or give it to another random character that’s Rank 2?

No no, don’t use it on a rank 2. That’s pretty much like throwing it away.

If you have no other toon to use it on, use it on your main or the one toon you’ll be playing the most that’s at least rank 4 (like the wi3ele perhaps?). Even if you still plan to make it into the same build, it’s pretty much a free skill reset.

About the class level stuff, it goes like this:

You’re Elementalist Circle1 at class level 1 (you just turned ele)? USE IT.

You’re Elementalist C1 at class level greater than 3 but less than 15? I’d recommend leveling it up first to Elementalist C2 at class level 1 before using the reset. Make sure you’re able to do so before the reset expires.

So class level is the level at which you’re progressing to reach the next rank. If you look at the bottom of the game’s UI, you’ll see two exp bars. Left is base level (which reaches up to 330 at the moment). Right is the class level which maxes at 15 (by that time, you’re able to do class advancement).

Base level exp (one that reaches lv.330), no.

Class level exp, yes. It resets to lv.1 of your current rank unless you’re class level 15 (100%) of your current rank in which case you might as well do the advancement first to the next rank before resetting (better sure than sorry).

If you’re rank 8 already and have class level 15 (maxed), you will still be given exp rank card to get that max class level 15 back after you reset.

So should I reset once I’m Class level 15? Or after I become Elementalist 2?

Be Ele2 first just to be sure.

So some other user is telling me to just get to class 15 and then reset, but is it better to become Elementalist2 Class 1 and then reset?

Yeah, either will work but I think it’s not gonna take much time to do the advancement quest. At least it’s a guarantee.

Given that it has a deadline, yeah, whichever character you think its worth using on, even low levels.

Wished it didn’t have an expiry.
