Priest 1 > Diev 1. if you only take it at circle 1. priest is the only class that does not fall off late game. However. Diev 3 is SO much more versitile than Priest 3. because the statues are good for GvG and PvP zoning as well. and ausrine is VERY good. But as a 1 circle class? Priest 1 > diev 1.

Went on the Reddit boards, surprise surprise, better players than you stated Cleric 2, Priest 1, Paladin 3, Filler, Inquisitor is the best thing to take into ET.

Diev is a circle 3 class, you need the world tree and Ausrine!!!

it’s ultimately god send. This opens up all single target meele at a high expense. It will work just costly thats all.
