What I mean is, for example when you reach rank 2 in the Wizard branch you unlock Pyromancer, Cryomancer and a new 3rd class (not necessarily hidden classes).
It’s true that the game has plenty of class combinations already but when I plan builds, I often feel like I just end up with the same handful of classes in my planned builds because the choices available per rank are full of classes I might not like (e.g. because of playstyle). For instance the Wizard branch is really bad for choice IMO:
Rank 1 Wizard: Filler garbage for anything that isn’t Wizard2 or Wizard3.
Rank 2 Wizard: A good choice between a standard spammy DPS mage and a defensive CC mage.
Rank 3 Wizard: Limited choice between an offensive mage with a niche playstyle and a supportive mage.
Rank 4 Wizard: Decent choice between an standard high cost high reward DPS mage and another supportive mage.
Rank 5 Wizard: Limited choice between a very niche playstyle and yet another supportive mage.
Rank 6 Wizard: Limited choice between another very niche playstyle and a crafter class.
Rank 7 Wizard: Finally some more standard DPS mages.
Rank 8 Wizard: More support classes?
So between rank 1 to 6 inclusive, there is a grand total of 2 non-niche playstyle standard DPS mages and these two classes honestly don’t even synergise well together. What if I don’t want to be a summoner or I’m simply not interested in support abilities (not saying I’m not, I love Cryomancer and Linker)?
What I’m suggesting is that in the future, each rank gets an additional class (not including hidden classes) to pick from just to open up more choices. I hope IMCgames considers when they’re done with rank 10.
