I played at pRO, which sadly closed last year, I think my characters are in Thor (iRO) now with issues of sorts like missing everything down to my last zenny ~_~
anyhoo, KyN0 was a 150 ranger and KoToHiKi was a soul linker, (I’m speaking in past tense because they are now dead to me, lol just kidding, no really…I have moved on 
)
yea i play a lot of ragnarok back in the day this game it just the best … the lagg is not but whatever… i realy hope this gona be better soon i think they didnot expect thas much of ppl and wait for freetoplay… it gona be a mess
Reporting in. I played on Loki iRO back in the day and a few p servers. This is the replacement RO I’ve been waiting for!
I played Odyssey, HeRO, Talon RO, WoonRO, Rebirth RO, OdinRO. What I miss from RO are STRONG MVPS, here the bosses seems so slow and underpower, in RO almost no one could kill MVPS by himself(except for a few jobs and specific mvps(low level ones). I wish they could add the necesity of making a party to go hunting

Thats not really true, the gf and i could duo almost and dungeon on iRO. We have like a 15minute timer on faceworm queen
my memories of MVP hunts back in the day is quite different, maybe because our server had too many premium goodies (I played at a legit local server that was quite…p2w), so much so people solo farm MVPs i.e. wounded morroc for the diabolus(?) set
sadly we can’t keep those items when we were transferred to iRO 
When I first started playing RO, MVP and Mini-bosses had like less than 10k HP. I remember hunting Golden Thief Bug on IRO Chaos with my lvl 70 Knight spamming Counter-Attack because it had like 6,000 HP or something.
I think those were the best memories I had of RO.
I don’t think I talked to anyone who remembers those days…that was how the game was for a long time and then MVP got buffs and eventually they got skills too.
Oceania RO (from before it went sub) and then many, many, many private servers after that.
Anyone remember WaffleRO before Waffle ruined everything? My mates and I were a Super Novice guild that chilled out in front of Payon Dungeon, taking out anyone dumb enough to try and fight us.
No seriously. We just sat there talking to people, and whenever someone started throwing attacks at us, one of us would just stand up and “Frost Diver + Lightning Bolt” them to death. There was this poor Mage who kept trying, then eventually came back as a Wizard to try their luck again only to be once again ravaged by our glorious instant-cast 
… Really did help that Waffle gave us items that actually boosted HP and MP to bring us up to everyone else. Without those, we’d have been one hit wonders.
Edit: Oh gods. Speaking of private servers. Anyone remember the Pinoys and their angry cries of “asa” whether they won or lost in pvp servers?
Edit 2: OH! And War of Emperium. A rare MMO guild-vs-guild that actually mattered. Taking control of castles, upping the defenses so you could keep access to castle specific dungeons… AAARGH! NOSTALGIA!

I’m also a very old euRo player who survived the fall of the original euRo then went over to fRo (new) euRo, but kinda stopped mid to end last year when they didn’t bring any updates anymore and there was nothing new to discover / collect. (Thanks Gravity Europe for killing my Ragnarok experience

I’m glad at that time there was no playtime counter like now with ToS in Steam…

Golden thief bug never had 6,000 hp and has always been an MvP pre renewel im pretty sure it had like 50-60k
haha Yeah maybe, it was like 10+ years ago so don’t remember numbers but the hp was really low

Also, GTB was never that weak, but my gods the amount of fighting over him…
