[RACISM] Racists shouts in SILUTE

  • Reason for report : Racists comments

  • Server : SA SILUTE

  • Team Name : TLB-EVO

  • Location : Mercenary Post

  • Approximate date / time (EDT) : 11:49PM

The TLB-EVO player was offending the brazilian players with racists words. As you can see in this pic, he was calling the brazilian players as “macacos” (monkey in english).

I think there is no space to it in this serve, no?

Thank you in advice.

just does not compare to all the times my friends and myself treat us “jerks” (boludo) or “bobos” or insults several players from brazil, by simply speaking our language … 5 months playing this game and I have learned to understand, because I give the “work” to do … is when you’re talking about or insulting me and have seen many Latin players given the “work” to understand their language, as players you should do the same…
PS: there are times when the brazilians do the same for shout and sometimes say things like "I thought the server was only for brazilians, get out of here boludo"
boludo (idiot) is an insult that does not hurt the same way and is more used by players from Argentina, I’m Chilean and when I say that I laugh at how stupid they can be seen from disturbing others without knowing how.

sorry my inglish

Hello my dear Chilean friend,

This is not a discussion, it`s a simple report. The fact is RACISM is not allowed in ToS.

RACISM It`s a crime in Brazil and in most countries. Boludo, idiot and jerk are not RACISTS words, but if you feel bad about this words when a brazilian, argentine, american, martian or whatever says it, just report him,

Im not a black guy, instead my grandpas are Spanish (father) and Portuguese (mother), but its not the point. CRIME it’s a CRIME, and there are no space for it here.

Since when saying macaco, boludo or even bobo (wth, that last one is not even offensive) is being racist? If you don’t know how people from said culture use those words, don’t assume it’s racism.

I’m from uruguay btw, and I would laugh at anyone who’d use macaco as an insult, because it’s not

Here in Brazil calling someone a “macaco” is racism, and it’s a crime.
Btw, I don’t agree with the report because I feel bad everytime I see a Brazilian saying “boludo” to a Spanish speaker, and never have seen a report either from brazilians or Spanish speakers about it, and it’s a form of racism from Brazilians, because they are making less of someone because Spanish speakers are the minority of the server.

I saw a new player come and say in Spanish “Hi I’m a new player and I want to make friends and etc etc etc”, and then a Brazilian said “cala-te boludo”, and tha was all. Why Brazilians don’t make Spanish speakers feel welcome?

I’m Brazilian and I play on Klaipeda now because of such behavior.

Racism is to offend people for their borning race, skin color or another etnical thing. Macaco is a classic racist word for black people. Then if you use this word to offend people, man this is RACISM.

Agreed. I feel bad about brazilians who say “boludo” or other “badwords” tô our friends from another country. But the point of report is a racial offend. BTW, i wrote in my first post: “if you feel bad about this words when a brazilian, argentine, american, martian or whatever says it, just report him”. We can’t ignore one error because We don’t mind about. If there are rules, I think it must be followed.

I played with a lot of sulamerican people in random parties, and don’t have any problem with this. Instead, i like it too much, cause i can improve my spanish and english skills (in TS3 for example). I’m here to play and make friends, despite race, skin color, age or genre. But we must respect each one.

You missed my point. I’ve said all those words you consider racist and never once had a racist intention when doing so. As you said, there’s tons of southamericans other than brs in silute and for them, saying macaco is probably not racist but just insulting or even a joke. I have a few guild mates who call some brs monkeys in orsha server and I have yet to know exactly why, but I don’t think it’s with a racist connotation, but because their attitude really gets close to a monkey’s (fyi, the one of that group of people, not brs in general)

Don’t be so naive my friend. Everybody knows what means when you say someone is a “macaco”. No Intention? Why “macaco” specifically? Why not idiot, jerk, son of a… and other “bad words”. Let me explain in these examples:

All cases has the “macaco” word. Maybe then, in your opinion, you dont think that cases are racism acts too, dont you?

I won’t speak for other cultures. I’m speaking for every uruguayan here. Macaco does not have that connotation. Macaco is the same as saying mono, and we even have a football player we call “Mono” (Maximiliano Pereira, a player we love here).

You call me naive? I call you paranoic

I agree that IN BRAZIL its a crime indeed.

However, this is not Brazil.

I’ve seen and experienced racism from Brazilians against me, countless times, just because I prefer to speak in English rather than in br/spanish (native spanish speaker here, I also understand br tho I cannot speak it properly).

This situation is nonsense tbh… no one should treat each other as it appears in OP’s pic.

Sorry man, now i see i’m wrong. Let’s the ethnic and racial insults running free in our games servers, there is no problem about it, no need our attention. BTW, we can ignore the Terms of Service too (https://treeofsavior.com/ts/), specially the following part: "You shall not use any abusive, defamatory, ethnically or racially offensive, harassing, harmful, hateful, obscene, offensive, sexually explicit, threatening or vulgar language. (Alternate spelling or partial masking of such words will be reprimanded in the same manner as the actual use of such words.)".

Despite it’s CRIME or not, TS don`t allow that, but no problem about it, i’m just a paranoid… :joy:
