R.I.P Players, IMC looks after us :(

This forum look so empty now.
The tree of savior population is now full of new players?

People are tired of making and seeing the same complaints already posted, so they’re waiting out for R9 content

Not only that, many already got tired of the same empty promises of fixes and implementations, we only receive more CS stuff, more restrictions and even more bugs instead.

Well, we will have a population spike during R9 for sure, specially if we get another reset event (which I doubt but we never know) or at least a single reset voucher/skill/stats.

In anyway, the game lost much of its light in the past 6 months, even with veteran players who tagged along since the first or even before the first iCBT announcement.

One thing I’m really curious is, do iToS have enough earnings to stay up even in this time of dim light? I don’t think so, IMC is squeezing the max of the earnings to keep the servers going, and they made sure to tell us that they are taking heavy damage with fraudulent payments (most likely from Steam bad design in their payment system (remembering EA fraud fiasco from the same system that is possible to do in other games)).

If things keep as they are, this downhill will end up soon. And it’s not soon™.

Yeah I felt that too, been a long time forumite since founders. Like what others said, people, or rather the community are getting tired.

IMC really need to get more contents out soon for iToS haiz.

I’m one of those waiting for R9, but if things (things=amateurish management) are still the same, I’m not sure I’ll be back (hopefully this time I won’t get a retarded stalker harassing me for saying something like that).

But… what were you expecting? They released an half-assed patch that only shifted power from A to B, with critical bugs too.
The same day they closed the reset event, they ninja deployed a “patch to the patch”.

Solution from entitled white knights?
Expect KR translation from other players instead of IMC (that failed to release the list of changes they promised) and do your choices accordingly.
And to those that do not read forums (the silent majority): up yours.

Then the DPK abuse and the laughable temporary bans, then channel crashing abused (again) to force rollback on failed anvil enhancements.

They didn’t fix a critical bug like loading screen freeze, that has been there since forever, but they gave to “useful idiots” stupid cubes to throw money at.

The same “useful idiots” that defended, swords and shields in hand, everything bad IMC did, telling players to quit instead of posting complaints.

The players quit, now don’t complain about it and get what you deserve.

Edit:
Triggered trolls false flagging.

Take in mind that Silute is the most populated server, and Black Desert already launched partially in Latin America a week a go, so many players from here that the had to add more servers, I can’t imagine what’d be like here when BDO launches officially for everybody who didn’t buy anticipated premium packs.

People from SA keep saying it like if SA had the highest player population.

Because it’s true, SA remains with the highest playerbase atm.

You totally missed the point, I’m saying, doesn’t matter if the game is dead or alive, people are gonna whine at everything.

Cool story, bro. How did you count?

Why does SEA have 2 servers and iTOS CCU has the highest spikes during SEA prime time?

Even NA+SA cannot beat SEA, but people keep saying that SA playerbase is the highest because they are playing there and want it to be so.

Not rocket science, pal. Just wander around every server, add a little common sense and voilá. Anyway, believe what you want, not only I couldn’t care less about your opinion but also it’s something quite irrelevant.

Comparing numbers isnt hard either. And I admit that each SEA server may have less players than Silute.

You don’t care so much, you just cannot withhold it. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

you hit the jackpot with that statement.

I recently had personal, bad experience with customer services with IMC, and it really hit me recently and thats exactly what I was thinking and contemplating to do myself. I won’t go into detail cause the thread will get closed I am sure lol
My guildmates know the details as I have shared it after losing my patience with this game.

IMC is clearly trying to boost its player base “artificially” by adding contents that encourage AFK connection time, but this does not improve their customer service policies, nor the game’s functionality / playability.

Few examples of past/present/future direction IMC has done to keep the “connection” numbers higher than actual active players:

  1. IMC is known to be quite strict with its rules and does not bend them, BUT allows multi-account creation and never acts on them. does not help legitimate players, does not punish hackers/rmters. Simply put: IMC does nothing.
  2. Allows AFK necros although the numbers might not show immediate detrimental effects to the game, but it has been oozing problem for over 8 months or more. It is no longer an oozing problem, it has caught up and the effects are now visible.
  3. Upcoming content Fishing is designed to encourage even more AFK farming. kTOS have seen artificially higher connection rates and a pretty big jump in game’s ranks because of this, but kTOS fansite forums, etc all indicate the servers are just full of AFK fishers, and continues to lose active players.

Is a game of AFKs with non-existing customer service and zero respect for its players, something people want to play actively for thousands of hours , and spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on?

  • I have played thousands of hours actively and spent hundreds of dollars on the game, do I want to repeat this for the next year? idk I am having very difficult time coming up with a good reason.

First time sharing in a doomsayer thread but these are my views and I am afraid the core theme of this thread is true.

Noble founder doomposting? The end is near.

Nothing to discuss because nothing has happened since the balance update, which was months ago now. They really should have been ready to push out some new content to capitalize on all the people that came back to the game - for a while the population almost doubled, now it’s back down to where it was before the update because it’s getting into late summer with no news of an update even in Korea, let alone internationally, and everyone is drifting off to other MMOs that are all having big updates or expansion releases around this time. This is a persistent problem with IMC, they just time things very badly and take too long to get things done in general; the content they do push out usually doesn’t last nearly long enough to keep people interested until the next update.

Just to add a complaint on this, it isn’t just because the content won’t last, almost any game will have the problem of content not lasting long enough - the worse problem is that the content is mostly boring, not challenging and not rewarding.

As for boring: Repetitive content without any difficult, just need patience. Either farming or Earth Tower or anything PVE-wise.

As for not challenging: No real difficult, really, anywhere. The challenges are mostly in the community x community itself (competition) than the game x player.

As for not rewarding: It’s nothing like you get “rewarded” either in short or long term. To give an example, the only few moments I feel rewarded lately are actually finding some new way for farming stuff and get more silver/h than the previous one - but the farming is boring in itself - most of time players just get rewarded for finding something that falls into the competition/economy territory other than the game stuff itself. There’s almost nothing that you actually get better on what you’re doing or whatever you find actually rewarding.

If the game doesn’t hold you, it’s usually the community/social which does so - but then that’s also lacking and you have external player’s efforts to put people together.

But after all, not saying that the core game isn’t good or fun - the problem is that the good/fun part stops there.
