Quick Questions: Gems

So, I’ve seen a lot of Gem Roasting shops lately and I’ve wondered: is that “buff” forever or is only temporary like Squire’s and Pardoner’s?

And also, I know that you can’t have, for example, 2 red gems on the same equipment bc it will not stack. But if I put 2 red gems using different equips, let’s say my main weapon and my dagger. Can i have those effects?

Normal red/green/blue/yellow gem can stack on everything although the tooltip say it not

The “can’t stack” only apply to skill gem, and it will not stack even when use on different gear
