Is the class “Matador” still being used?
Simple like that. Do you like this idea?
I explain why I ask that below, if you are curious, but is just blabling, nothing more than opinion and a big text:
I stopped playing about 2 months ago when they announced the class “Matador”.
I didn’t care about all the possible injustices that have occurred at that point, bugs, lack of class balance and other minor issues that people love to complain as Bots, new content, new classes. I had never cared about it at all, even if I loved to make suggestions.
I know some classes have some really bad, horrible REAL historic background, as Inquisitor, for example, that is based on a profession that was basic torture people in name of religion (try to search for “Breaking Wheel” or “Pear of Anguish” on google images to see). But all the classes are based on PAST events, that I believe and want to not occur again. Other classes that still exist today had been adapted by the General Medias to have a good side. For example the Class Corsair, you can relate to Jack Sparrow or Mugen from One Piece.
But when I saw this AWESOME INCREDIBLE game basic honoring a real Job of Torturing Animals for Fun, I had to stop.
My point (if you were not intelligent enough to get it), is that since Tree of Savior is an awesome game, Put this class that still exist in this game, and that has NO GOOD SIDE, is simple Honoring this Job, instead of combat it.
So yes, I got triggered by that, and for the first time in many months, I was able to leave the game without a look back. I was filling sick already for the need to play every day, and this released me somehow.
But I really miss the game, even without time to play it now that my job consumes almost all my time for the next months.
That is why I wanted to see other people opinion about this.
I know other famous games already did the same. One example is the Tekken Series for example. The character Miguel is a Matador too, and no one cares.
Yet, It’s too hard for me to accept this tribute to this real job of torturing animals.
Yes yes, I know at every moment an animal is being tortured, burned alive or any other kind of natural pain that nature has created, but I still don’t admit that we do it for fun.
