It’s a known fact that the vast majority of the playerbase likes costumes. I was a pretty big Everquest II player, and I remember doing long quests with interesting lore for cool-looking cloaks and cosmetic gear, and I think TOS needs a bit of this, specifically exclusive gear.
One of my favourite parts about MMOs in general is exclusive cosmetics, so I think that a few events here and there with big quests (again emphasis on cool lore too, would love to see some of that) that lead to limited cosmetics would be great and would introduce a bunch of new elements into the game.
Thoughts?
edit: Just to clarify, this gear should not be premium or purchasable imo. Marketplace is fine, though it’s important to have a balance of premium and quest cosmetic content.
