Questions regarding Boss Fights

Hi all,

I have some questions and hopefully someone can help answer them.
I did search around but no luck.
Thanks in advance.

  1. Boss AI: How do bosses choose which player they focus on? Every time my priest and my friend pyro went into a boss fight, the boss traced the pyro. Is there a way to make the boss go after me?
  2. Is there a way to prevent knock back? It’s very annoying being knocked down all the time as a melee.

The Warrior is the only one with the provoke ability, at least to my knowledge, so far thats the only taunt in the game, some skills also from the warrior prevent knockback, my guess is some others skills can prevent it. Cheers

I think it’s based on how much “threat” you have, it’s probably based off how much damage you do based off what i’ve seen.

Only way is abilities i believe. I think warriors have one called pain barrier or something.

It’s the same with the other games, if you don’t have a skill that takes the aggro, it goes down to whoever can do most DPS.

that’s sad…cuz in ro whoever made the first hit takes the aggro…
that’s how a tank can work…

so in tos only the one with provoke can be the tank then…

ONTOPIC:
Swords have provoke attribute, and pain barrier for knock, peltasta has Swash buckling but idk if run with bosses.

MAYBE Block can do something with knockback, CON adds block.
