Questions about the resets next week: Hidden Quests and Guildmasters

Couldn’t find the answer to these anywhere, so I’m sorry if these questions are answered somewhere already (it would be neat if someone pointed me the right direction if that’s the case):

So next week we won’t need to do quests to advance ranks, but what about hidden classes? Will those need to do their quests again? I’m thinking particularly on Mikos and their particular hell quest. If they don’t have to do the quest, will people who aren’t Miko already be able to become Miko “for free”? How?
Also, about guildmaster Templars, what happens to a guild if the guildmaster resets his/her class? Will the guild be disbanded as collateral damage? Will guilds be “frozen” during the event so the guildmasters can freely readjust their non-Templar circles?

No, hidden quests still have to be done. Templars seem to be in trouble

Oh well, that’s a pity. Our guildmaster wanted to redo his Templar so he could be Squire, and nobody else has a Templar (neither can we get one before the reset event to pass the master status).

It’s logical that hidden quests have to be re-done and templars can’t reset freely, but it’s kinda unfair for them I think. I feel bad for every Miko that wants to reset their class right now.

No, no. Not redone - you just have to do them once. Mikos are fine re-becoming Mikos. They confirmed this
Templars are mostly in trouble because they stop being templars when they reset. They didn’t have a solution to this last time.

(To sum up: You can freely reset to any class of your main class that you already unlocked on that character, including hidden classes)

As far as I remember it’s not necessary as long as you have it unlocked and have it active before the reset.

Unless there’s some new info I missed in there.

You will only have to do the advancement quest tho.

Oh! I see, then it’s cool for Mikos. Still feeling bad for templars tho. We (the members of the Guild) should have thought of this beforehand and one of us should have leveled a rank 7 swordie before, but we all hate leveling swordies so we’re all screwed right now.

Thanks for answering, both of you @Zefiris @Nirimetus

I can’t say about templar, if they are doing some major workout, but even so, it shouldn’t be necessary to reset the status of the unlocking quest because of that.

Lets give an example:

I have a Cleric C2 > Bokor C3 > Miko > PD C2, if I reset her and decide to take other things but still want Miko I should be able to, but of course, I will have to do the quest she ask for advancement (not the pre-quest for unlock).

I remember doing this when Miko was released, I did the pre-quest for unlock, then reset my char and redo all the advancement quests I needed.

Yeah, the problem that we assume Templars will have is, mostly, that we don’t know what’s going to happen to the guild if the guildmaster stops being a Templar (as the Guildmaster status is linked to the Templar character). Since it’s a non-hidden class there shouldn’t be any other problem related to that.

I doubt it will be an issue, you won’t login under reset as far as I know, you have the option to do so, now, after resetting I’m not sure if it would cause issues tho.

Oh I see, then it might work. Well, I guess we’ll see next week. Thanks!

Templars cannot be the leader of a guild if they want to reset. Guild leaders will require to move the leadership to another templar if they want to reset.

Then whoever want to do that can use an alt swordie that have enough Lv (and Rank) by resetting it going Templar with the build they want and pass the leadership to the new one, then the old one they can do whatever they want.

That is, whoever have an alt that is under that requirement.

Where is the anounce of the rest? I didnt se anything

IF you have already done the quest on the character you don’t have to re do it . If you didn’t have miko in your build previously you would have to do the hidden quest. They had this info when they first announced the event.

Yeahwhere is the announcement for this ??? i didn’t see anything about reset event coming next week !!!

As for official announcement, we need to wait until monday for that.

Actually they also stated :
"- During the event period, players will be exempt from advancement quests, so you’ll be able to advance ranks directly without a quest. This applies to all characters, including those who don’t use the reset item."
( 2-4. Reset Event Plans https://treeofsavior.com/page/news/view.php?n=920 )

So during the reset event, given you also have unlocked your desired hidden class(es), you won’t need to do any rank-related questing.
