Questions about Team/Character name

I’m a bit confused with this system.

It’s true that only our Team Name displays when we type something in chat? I also have heard that there is an option to disable the first name for everyone.

Basically it’s only the team name that will display for almost everyone else?

Yes, u add friend/chat/trade with team name.
So u play base on team name, character name is for ur characters…
You could have many characters , so when ppl see your team name will know that, that’s you who playing those characters
