Questions about Linker and Alchemist

Hi guys ! I am new here. Was playing around with the skill simulator and was wondering what’s the difference between a level 5 joint penalty and physical link vs a level 10 version of these 2 skills? Is it an increased of buff duration or are there any extra effects?

Also what are these ‘gems’ that the Alchemist are capable of creating? Are they accessories or something?

(AOTW) I haven’t encountered an English database site which provide detailed skill level descriptions. They might, however be updating their databases (hopefully) right after the ICBT. As for the gem, consider looking into this: TOS Alchemist Class Intro

Awesome ! Thanks for that link. It’s really helpful !!! Btw; just wondering since I haven’t played the game yet. How are potions in this game? Are they spammable like in RO or are they useless (restricted by cd) like in some MMOs?

huh! I have yet to experience the game myself  But I’m betting it would most likely be CD-restricted (rationale: current rpg meta)

haha okay xD Wondering what to get on my future-alchemist. Since there is not enough skill points ! ‘’'orz

Yep, recovery potions are restricted by cooldown and they also heal over time.

IIRC, the CBT3 client’s gonna be upping the rank cap (about 9, quite uncertain tho), anyways, that would mean having enuf skill points to distribute among alch crafting skills (assuming you go full circle alchemist) :smile_cat:

Ehh…Well at least we no longer have to spam berries or slim pots xD

Actually…my question for the alchemist is about crafting in general.I noticed that it seems most classes can use the Anvil to fix and upgrade equipment…which is kinda what the squire does.So will there be a station or usable NPC alchemist?

The Squire can repair over 100% efficiency, while standard jobs can repair 100% max.
Both Alchemists and Squire can set up a repair shop while afk/offline.
It’s prob gonna work for a price though, dunno if auto or manual (hopefully auto).
