Question regarding ( - + armor types stats )

Hello,

I’m still not quite sure if i should invest in Venom, due to the reasons which i still dont understand, hopefully anyone clever can explain.

  • CON +14 (1.2k)
  • Attack on Plate Armor Targets -117
  • Poison Property Attack +178

So -117 on all the plate targets, which i assume is a flat number, meaning this dagger only adds 61 attack against plate mobs, and if its other purpose is the HP increase, wouldn’t beetleback be a better choice since it offers 1,6k?

or does this decrease has some sort of formula anyone knows anything about?

But i don’t really get it.

If it’s flat damage, wouldn’t it be like paying 4mil for 61 attack? :open_mouth:
Considering beetle is cheaper?

I believe you’re correct. All your damaging abilities should receive an additional 61 attack against plate mobs. It does come with that neat poison passive though.

When it comes to HP beetleback is good. But having that +14 con gives your char a nice boost in other places along with some great hp.

Venom really does seem worth it!
