Question on my next job choice (C1 > P3> ?)

Hello,

The purpose of this thread is to help me find a good futur for my cleric. I will only do PVE with it, so i’m looking for advice on that topic. I enjoy dps and i found the heal/support quite fun in dungeon.

I’m currently level 125 with a job level of 14.5, meaning I’ll have to choose my 4th class soon. And I’ve absolutly no idea on what to take.

My current build is : Cleric 1 > Priest 1 > Priest 2 > Priest 3
and my stats repartition is the following :

  • str 43
  • con 14
  • int 8
  • spr 11
  • dex 180

I was aiming for a full monk after that Monk 1 > Monk 2 > Monk 3, but i’m not so sure anymore on the usefulness of a monk in a party. Is the dps/usefulness good enough (for a cleric base I mean) ?

I may consider going full support with Cleric 2 > Oracle 1 > Plague Doctor (or something else if you have a better idea). Will a full support class be able to do some solo quest at higher level without taking 10 min for a simple monster ?

I have the luck to have a stats / skills reset potions available, so it’s not a problem to respect stat or skills repartition.

If you’re going to do only PVE and you enjoyed the party playing with healing and supporting.

then I’d say since you already took Priest C3 your best bet would be to go for Chaplain > Cleric C2 > Plague Doctor to finish your build, you could also take Krivis for Daino instead of Cleric C2 but you won’t have that many heal tiles and your safety zone won’t be as good as with the C2 attribute.

as for stats, I’d recommend 4:2:1 INT:SPR:CON, or 4:2:1 SPR:INT:CON.

It’s up to your preference what do you want, a higher dmg and healing or better buffs.

This is a Cleric C1 > Priest C3 > Chaplain > Krivis > Plague Doctor build:

He is full INT and a little bit of CON so he isn’t so squishy, he also recommends to get at least 100 CON and the rest pump into INT if you like that type of build, however that’s more for solo playing than party.

Thanks for the quick feedback, its raise me a new question so : why go for Chaplain rather than Oracle ? (or else ?)

I understant for the Krivis, but I heard we can buy this Daino spell on a scroll, so it’s quite expensive just for this buff.

I’ts basically because Chaplain goes extremely well for Priest C3.

Also the class has a skill called Deploy Capella, which casts Blessing, Aspersion, Sacrament, Monstrance (Dex Buff) and Stone Skin for all allies inside of the aura and they last for 30 secs, and the Capella lasts for 60 and the buffs for 35 secs, so you can have all of those buffs for 100% uptime which is really nice, specially Stone Skin.

As for Krivis, besides that Daino gives you slots for more buffs, it goes extremely well because you’re an INT base build, and Zaibas deals pretty good dmg and it scales with INT, so basically it’s to add even more dmg to your class, which is really nice.

However as stated before, it’s more for solo playing since it won’t benefit you for your healing and 5 heal tiles is said that isn’t enough for end game content, but it also benefits your buffing potential since you can apply all of your buffs without worrying about overwriting your party member’s buffs (or yourself).

So it’s kind of a preference to the person, if you want to have more heal and survability (the Cleric C2 Safety Zone attribute it’s really good), Divine Might which increases your skills lvl by 1, might not seen like that much but it’s kinda good, for example if you use Divine Might and then cast Lvl 10 Heal, instead of casting it lvl 10 it would be lvl 11 which means 11 heal tiles, and it also works for the rest of the skills.

But apparently it doesn’t work for skills that goes over the skill cap, for example it won’t make Blessing Lvl 15 > Lvl 16, but I’m not sure.

And then Krivis basically increases your dmg output and gives you more room for buffs, some hp regeneration with Aukuras, and a crit buff with Zalciai which scales with your SPR.

So in short, Krivis more DMG and buffs/ buff slots, and Cleric C2 for more survability.

For the support/survability build something like this on the skills choices (not sure for plague doctor yet, but I’ll have to time decided before I reach rank 7)
Since much of the damage from this build comes from skills level and auto-attack damage the 4:2:1 spr:int:con ratio seems better, even maybe drop int entirely for a 4:1 spr:con ?

For the support/dps build something like this
with the 4:2:1 int:spr:con ratio (to keep the buff up to date for groups)

Damn it’s hard to decide, too many choices … :confused:

Monk wannabe here!
Priest-Monk are mostly for solo dps play, but being a Priest in the first place, your buffs are invaluable to the team, especially Blessing, Revive, Stone Skin.
Sure you may not be able to fulfill the heal needs, but do you really want 1 person to fulfill all roles at the same time? You just got to know what you want to be and do it best.

Was in Tenet Garden dungeon for the first time yesterday - entered twice and got 3 clerics both times, got cleric2s so heal squares all over.
Enough heals? Nope, team still die now and then. That’s where Revive comes in.

Don’t underestimate Priest Monks~

DPS Build: 4:2:1 INT:SPR:CON or 1:1 INT:SPR and 100 CON or 100 CON and full INT

Support Build: 4:2:1 INT:SPR:CON or 4:2:1 SPR:INT:CON

I want more damage, so why SPR? because aspergium and aspergillium?

It’s basically because your buffs scales with SPR, so if you want to be a full support you can go with some CON and full SPR and forget about INT to have really nice buffs and average healing.

Yeah but i want be a DPS, so SPR will help me, on aut atack with aspergillum, thats the reason right? Beacause i saw the video and hes not put any pont in SPR, so if i put some points in spr, my dmage will increase with aspergillium?

Hello , can i ask why pd is better than just take krivis AND cleric c2 ?
