Is anything else improved other than duration for this skill? I’ve read some people say its aoe is increased as well.
the AoE is the same, as far as i know, and i play druid on kTOS
but chortasmata is essential for druids, since you need it for carnivory and sterea troth… so the duration increase is all you need XD
specially now with the new Carnivory duration Attribute
btw… @Spadow @Flash, the new attribute is not yet on tosbase
Then what level would you recommend for chortasmata? As high as you can get it?
chortasmata also has an attribute to increase it’s duration, lv 5 should be enough
(chortasmata attribute needs circle 2)
but you could level it higher if you want to
Thanks for the help. Much appreciated!
Is there really a point in increasing the duration? Doesn’t carnivory/sterea duration take place as soon as you cast them? Or do they disappear as soon as the chortasmata duration run out even if your carnivory/sterea duration is still up?
carnivory and sterea uses the grass of the map as a catalyst for the spell
Chortasmata simulates those grass in an area
if there is no grass, carnivory and sterea troth won’t do nothing…
once chortasmata ends, the grass created by it is gone,
so, if the spells are currently active on those grass, they’ll vanish as well, but if it’s active on the map grass too, it’ll stay active on the map grass
obs: the burning effect was caused by the Ignition Staff
Ah I see, thanks a bunch for recording that video!
I saw another (rather outdated) video the other day which shows the opposite, which is why I wasn’t too sure about it. I guess they must’ve changed it in a patch.
One more thing I forgot to ask is: Do mobs that enter inside chortasmata become plant types permanently or online while they’re inside?
i have no idea
Flash will probably update this after the weekend after my pull request on Github is accepted. Because IMC pushed a lot of updates on Github, including this attribute.
