Question on downloading the game (with backstory)

So I don’t know what I was on when I did this.

I already had the game file during CBT and other updates. While the file was still in my computer i bought the founders pack which made a message appear that I already had the game and will not create a duplicate, thats ok I know I have the game I just needed the DLC. After that I pre-loaded the game.

Now a few days later I decided that it would be a good idea to delete the game file and empty my recycle bin because I wanted to re-install the game just in case. Problem is the game is locked on pre-load I have no idea what it does btw and I can’t re-install the game.

Do I have to wait for the servers to go up to install the client?

They will probably release the download 1 or 2 days before the opening.

Click your Start Menu and open the Run command (In Windows start search for Run)
enter the following command : steam://install/372000

it must force the game to install

go to your steam library, locate ToS (should be in pre-load state), right click > manage downloads > press the download button and it should start downloading client.

Edit: or just check file cache integrity for ToS.

Nope guys it says the game isn’t out yet

Thats because… game isnt out yet (shock!). You cant launch client for now. Its same for everyone. Check steam folder if you have files - if you do then all is fine

Not there, but the DLC is still in my steam tho

If download button does nothing then everything is ok.
