Hi i’d like to ask if Corsair 3 is viable as a PVE character, what I’ve seen at Corsair builds at tosbase is they’re oriented at PVP. I’d like to ask whether Corsair could fit ET as a support/damage dealer.
Here’s the build that I’m aiming for.

get 5/5 double slash, shadow clones copy it, lots of dmg, basically always crits.
also, barb c1 doesn’t synergize too well with that build. I would honestly go with Hoplite, +100 crit rate, pierce debuff (for extra dmg on Kunai,Hexen Dropper, Finestra gives +3 AOE too. Only downside is you lose most/all of your evasion.

It’s a toss up, because barbc1’s bonus slash dmg and +50 crit rate benefits double slash & dust devil. Because of Kunais short cooldown though, I would go with Hoplites +pierce dmg
Hoplite C1 doesnt have a Pierce Dmg Debuff -> Spear Lunge is C2 Hoplite. Well u have Finestra which is +100 Crit Rate and +3 AoE, but drop almost all Evasion (Evasion is kinda garbage now, so not a big downer.
Barb C1 gives Cleave which is +50 Crit Rate and Bonus Slash Dmg. Double Slash and Dust Devil are good skills now and fit well with Cleave imo.
50 more Crit Rate is nice form Finestra over Cleave, but both dont have 100% uptime.
Bonus Slash Dmg in combination with Bunshin + Double Slash is very high dmg. (Speaking of almost 2 millions dmg per 3 overheats on an enemy with cleave debuff with my current gear - i dont have transcended my weapon yet)
Infact its a matter of preference.
Like spears -> Hoplite
Like Swords -> Barb
I played both and one thing is for sure. Without good gear Hoplite is better, cuz its easier to get a decent Spear over a decent sword.
But with Aoe Ratio Headgears, Squire Bufffood u get a lot of AoE Ratio and dont need those from Finestray anymore. Also 50 Crit Rate difference isnt that big of a deal aynmore.
Since Cleave is very good in combination with Double Slash and Dust Devil i tend to the barb variant. (This is also my final build Sw3-Barb-Corsair3-Shinobi - i used to be Sw-Pelt-Hop2-Corsair3-Shinobi before the reset event for almost 6 months now)
