[QUESTION]Kabbalist for r7 in my build (link below)

I was thinking the other day, how can I get a gap closer with Monk?
And here is what I came up with:

Currently My monk is level 202 and I am closing in on getting to R7 with it.
I found out recently that you can ride the merkabah
… RIDE A FREKING MERKABAH!!!

What do you guys think of that as a gap closer? and is it worth more then going monk 3 for this character?

My build is DEX/STR (1:1) and something around 50-60 CON atm. will try to get it to about 80 by 250+

Any feedback is appreciated.

I have never played PvP but would love to see how this one will work out.

Sometime it will work, sometimes not.

There is a chance where you will get to the place where you want to go but at the same time, you’ll suffer a rubberband effect where you thought you were there but not really, you’ll be teleported back.

Besides, the spell takes time and when they see it, they would run away instant

So it does get affected by that “you are miving too fast” annoyance. I guess Monk 3 here I come…

Sadhu can work, Prakriti isn’t that affected by the rubberbanding from a friend’s experience, seems it happens more with Astral Body Explosion.

But even with a gap closer, you’re not really going to have enough time to One Inch Punch. It’s not nearly as fast as RO Asura click-to-kill, the opponent needs to stay in place. You’d need a teammate for binding the opponent.

And if you’re going to need binding from a teammate anyway, then best to just go Monk3 at that point.

I wish Merkabah was more of an instant launch with you 100% riding the first one.
Even cast time is fine as long as it launches right away…

My guess for the reason why Merkabah has a startup delay is due to it being “rideable” by any player (not just by you and your party mates), need time for players to get on for the ride. So a divine might’ed Merkabah will have 6 wheels, and can have 6 players riding it. :grinning:

Not a good gap closer skill though even when the movement bug is fixed.

Darn I always forget those badass wheels were rideable
Sad thing is that I rarely ever meet a Kabbalist and uses Merkabah to boot :frowning:
