Question for a Thaumuturge and/or Summoner player

Actually didn’t have time to test wizard very much. Have a few mechanics questions.

Thaum questions

  1. After casting Transpose, can you remove the buff like any other buff (return your stats to normal)?
  2. When you turn Int into Con your left with whatever you life was before (so you go from 5k/5k to 5k/80k). If I turn my Con into Int and then remove the buff will I go 80k/80k -> 5k/5k -> 5k/80k?

Summoner questions

  1. Does changing your int after summoning effect the stats of your summon (aka can I turn my int into con and not lose the damage).

Basically just want to know if I can turn my Con into Int, summon and then purge the buff and have my Con/Hp back >.>

  1. Yes, right click removes the buff immediately

  2. I have no idea as I’m a full INT lol

  3. For Necro at least, yes, that is how it will work. The summons I’m able to cast are based on your INT value at the time of casting rather than at any given time throughout the skill’s effect. I.e. If you have 500 INT, summon, and transpose to only 10 INT, your summons will maintain their previous output. I didn’t pick up any other summon based classes so I can’t answer for Sorc or later classes yet =P

If the server is still up can you respec to full con and test >.<

lol trueee, I may do that if nobody else replies, atm heading to bed since I share the server time and 4:44am is way too late for a sleepy nerd like me XD

I just tested.

  1. CON 56, INT 640 - summon Sorc Grimoire, Familiar & Salamion
  2. Transpose, CON 640, INT 56
  3. Sorcerer summons damage are still the same.
  4. Same goes for Necro summons

Need the reverse tested. If you go Con -> Int, summon (or dont) then remove the buff going back to full Con. Does your hp stay super low?

I know if you go Int -> Con you end up with whatever hp you had before with Int.

Level 200
CON 258, INT 13, HP 25821/25821, MAttack 399-399
Transpose
CON 13, INT 258, HP 4996/4996, MAttack 644-644
Transpose expire HP 5354/25821

I am wondering why it is not HP 4996/25821.

Hmm so basically I have to have a healer with me to use this unless there turns out to be some powerful potions in existence.

Thanks for testing. I think ill still use the wiz/cryo/linker/thaum/summ3 build… depending on what the last ranks offer and if healing doesnt get nerfed more.

Well, thanks for testing ;p

I am a CON:SPR 2:1 since level 1 (currently at 110).
I use it when I am down to half my HP, I convert into INT with Equilibrium on. When I am down to 3K HP, I use full Transpose to convert all into INT.

This way, I sustain longer in fight, particularly against boss, as I can take a few hits and know his skill set. A CON base will be for long fight. Short fight (since you can kill them), you can start with INT.

This didn’t happen to me, I got the same value of HP under my Transpose (that would be 5354 + HP recovery in your case). Maybe you are being attack. Since I was standing still, it adds one HP recovery as well.

I was trying this out in town.
It is likely due to HP recovery because it took a while for the HP bar to reset.

I guess I read it wrong from your previous post, which I got the same, and I can see the HP Recovery number popped up. Meanwhile, in battle, we can expect the HP recovery may not exist (don’t count it in, perhaps).
