Question bout farming / rule no.1

Hi, Hi guys

I’m realy curios about one thing. One time I was farming Tengu Mask and after 1000 kills, with (as we all know) 0,3~0,2 drop rate sitll didn have it. I’ve ask on shout about this item and got a lot of answers, but I rember one person wrote me this rule no.1 and I understand this works, but have no idea how, or why

“Dont change channels when you’re farming, wait form mobs to respawn”

Funny thing - I’ve never told anyone I’ve changed channels, so I was rly suprised someone knew this only after my number of kills. (I’ve got mask after 100 next kills, so rly fast!)

Have someone any idea how it wroks? :OO

Some drops are RNG and drop rates can be assumed through statistics.

Some drops are DPK and require a certain number of kills global kills before it drops.
