After searching through the forum and being a kTos myself, i want to ask about the “Auto” part of Weapon Swapping.
Very simple: An archer who is a muskteer can “auto-swap” his bow to a musketeer, use his/her musket skill and immediately swap back to his/her bow. This video at 3:32 clearly shows that as her weapon slot didnt change on the lower left. Further later, when she used her “snipe” skill to the mobs and the boss, you can see that the “crosshair” is used, which means the skill is used BEFORE she even swapped to her musket, which means it was auto-swapped just to use the skill then swap back. You can see that the entire video, the weapon-swap icon on the lower left didnt change.
On the other hand, myself, as a cataphract with a pelta tree, with a 2-handed spear on 1 hand, and a 1-handed spear + shield on the other hand, didnt have that auto-swap function. Swash buckling + Umbo blow + Rimblow are all “black-out” when i currently equip my 2-hand. When i tried to use those skills, all i get is a frustrating red line “You dont have the right weapon equipped”., and i have to MANUALLY swap the weapon.
Would someone explain to me why is this happing? Is the auto-swap only functional for Archer? If it is so, can some staff explain to me why swordman doesnt have this function? Thank you. @Staff_Julie @STAFF_Ethan @STAFF_John
