Hi, I heard that you can still use buffs and debuffs while using “rune of giants”, so I just wanted to check before going through the trouble of doing the quest.
You see, I would like to use my “join penalty” while in giant form so I can be useful while taking advantage of the defense increase.
PS: In the description of rune of giants, it’s written that the defense of the player is increased by 20%, that includes magic defense right ?

Yes, you can use Joint penalty while in giant form. And yeah, the rune of giants does increase Mdef as well.
