Hello there!
I’d like to stay on the anonimosity, so i won’t be mentioning more than being a Silute player for about 2 years.
To start with, i have always been against the concept of chat filters, as it’s something pretty trivial and inefficient (c’mon, we all know that if you put a dot on the middle of the word, you bypass it in atleast 99% of the games…), it also ends up censoring regular words by mistake and making communication somewhat troublesome.
But as i’ve been talking to a friend of mine (who gave me the idea to bring it to the forums), we started to wonder why is the word “gay” censored.
It is not an offense to be gay, and censoring it makes it feels like it’s something not accepted, against the rules, on the company’s vision.
For that reason i would like to know, from the Staff, why is the word gay censored if the only words that are censored are either swearwords or words that could be used for sexual harassing someone (oh, by the way, you guys censored only words related to the female genitals and
~neutral stuff~, if you know what i mean, nothing about males. You might want to give it a proper look too).
Oh, and if IMC is open for improvements, i would like to suggest the removal of the word ‘gay’ from the chat filter.
Thanks for the attention
