Question about priest skill

  1. Blessing: for example lvl 5, number of hit: 50, is total sum of party member number of hit before buff disappear, or every teammate get 50 number of hit?

  2. monstrance: what maximum magic circle mean?

  3. revive: invincibility? immune to all damage and CC?

  4. how much price of holy water, holy powder, gyslotis?

  1. Every person gets 50 hits.
  2. Each time you cast the skill you summon X number of magic circles that will debuff enemies that step on it.
  3. Immune to all damage, yes. Not sure about CC, can’t remember.
  4. Insignificant.
  1. i see! that good news. i think i will not invest lot of point in blessing with add of 30 hit from attribute. 80 hit per 45 sec is sufficient, am i right?

  2. 1 magic circle will debuff 1 enemy only?

  3. that is cool! now i considering this skill to max. 5 sec immunity is very good. BTW, can this revive and resurrection skill used on arena/pvp?

  4. how much that insignificant?? i plan to become priest as my first character. based on my experience on RO, i played hunter as 1st char, and really need money to resupply elemental arrow.

I don’t really remember since it’s been a while since I played my priest, but all I can remember is that it wasn’t significant enough to make me try to limit my buff usage. Hopefully an active priest can tell you how much exactly are they.

And that’s why I kafra all my etc loots and craft my own arrows

  1. depends on the build, i usually find lvl 5 blessing + hit attributes enough. Though i tend to prefer lvl 10 for the dmg.

  2. No, it will place 1 circle. That circle will debuff any enemies standing in it when it’s cast, but then expire if a enemy or ally walks through it.

  3. revive’s invuln is capped to 3s in pvp. It’s still very good due to the heal though and you do not get a cc immunity from any type of invuln.

  4. It was dirt cheap, the weight from it was more annoying imo. That and not noticing how quickly you ran out of the buggers. But money seems to be re-balanced so i can’t be entirely sure atm.

  1. yes i plan to only raise blessing to lvl 5 only. I prefer max lvl aspersio, 48% def bonus will be good

  2. so it can debuff enemies, but will expire if new enemy walk in?

  3. so the ideal is revive lvl 3 then?? can we use resurrection on arena?

  4. i see. yeah we priest dont raise str, will be problem. i hope there is npc that sell this item on some camp map.

Or a player character, yes.
Not exactly sure why as them walking over it does nothing else. (the buff is instant and party wide.)

For pvp 3 is the minimal recommendation, more is still good for the healing though. For pve it shines quite a bit with higher skill levels.
And yes, we can use Resurrection in the arena. But any hit taken will interrupt it.

thanks for the info wurmheart.

btw what do you prefer for support priest, if 1 class remaining, will be krivis c1, paladin c1, or oracle c1?? i will pick chaplain&plague doctor offcourse.

and i want to know about this oracle skill

  1. how the atribute “arcane energy: additional damage” work?
  2. is forecast good on pvp? how bout the range we can see the cross-hair? if elementalist cast meteor from afar can we see it on floor?
  3. counter spell good for pvp?
  4. that forecast, counter spell, prophecy is considered a buff that take place on 7 maximum buff we have?

I’d say cleric2 personally. You need it to be a reliable healer imo, mass heal helps a bit but simply not enough.
(though some will accuse me of being elitist for saying that)

Not entirely sure atm.
I initially heard it only dealt damage upon using it, but it seems intended to deal damage over time. I do not know if that has been fixed yet.

There even may be a hidden synergy with holy dmg skills(or monks energy blast at least), but the one who claimed as such didn’t provide any evidence either.

It is quite nice, but only for skills with decent cast times. It’s great for seeing the actual size of aoe’s for testing purposes as well.

Short answer:
I don’t know.

Long answer:
In theory it can be very good, but i have not seen it properly applied in practice just yet.
Mostly because it has a considerable amount of downsides:
-it’s stationary so enemies could simply walk out of it.
-It removes all ground based spells, it likely also blocks friendly spells.
-A once every 90s counterspell is not very impressive tbh. The cool down leaves a lot to be desired.

(Also not sure if it works on totems, but does work on aukuras.)

Forecast is considered to be a aura or rank 2 buff, it does not count towards the buff limit.

Arcane Energy, Counter-spell and Prophecy however are rank 1 buffs and do take up 3 slots together.
[But it’s not wise to stand in a counter spell in most cases anyway. Aside of select monk builds.]

so rank1 buff is limited, while rank2 buff is unlimited, right?

where i can get info about skill is rank1 or rank2 buff??

Basically yes.
[Though it’s rare to see a lot of r2 buffs in general, it may have a limit of it’s own.]

And i’m not sure where the rank list is currently, i think tosbase had at least one page with such debuff/buff rank information but i can’t find it anymore.

I do remember r2 buffs being: Daino, Restoration, Forecast and the sorcerer cat buffs though…
