is there a way to macro weapon swapping when using certain skills like when i use lunge it automatically shifts to spear?
is it illegal?

The game already does that for you. I can use my QS skills while using a bow as long as i have a Xbow in the WS slot.
so, when i lunge with my 1h spear and then use preparation with rapier, as long as the rapier is on the weapon slot, the game will change it for me without pressing alt+z?
Yes, you probably wont even notice it change, but you can trigger the skills normally, as long as the required weapons/sub are in the weapon swap slots.

Does this work for swordman? I have a spear and a 2handed sword in my WS slots but I cannot push crossguard at will.
I’ll do some extensive testing to see if I messed up my own hotkeys or something, but It’s pretty annoying for me to weapon swap right now. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Autoswap doesn’t work for swordies, but it works for archers.

Doesnt kTOS have auto weapon swapping? I would assume we would be getting it soon. Like have 2h spear equipped, but using taunt auto switches to 1h spear and shield.
