I looked up videos on youtube and it seems like kunai ONLY hits once as opposed to 5 like it says on tosbase. Pretty much the only time i saw it hit 5 times was after clones were summoned and each clone fired off a kunai of their own.Is this intended or bug?

there was a big combat change update and some skill videos might be outdated…

Each hit IS individual, so any of the hits can:
-Miss a target but hit the one next to the main target if you throw them from far.
-Crit individualy.
-at point blank you can hit all 5 hits, still, each hit can be nullified by the defense stats(dodge,block).
An little tip: if done correctly, clones and main body can (with kunai/double slash AT point blank) achiev the hit count of:
-Clerics safety zone.
-Ice Wall.
So have fun! 
you need to be at a point blank range for kunai to hit 5 times. it’s pretty much a barrage v2.
