I know that the expensive like 198/298 TP hairstyles are permanent and equippable items. But, what I want to know, is the hairstyles that are 15 TP equippable items too, or are they one usage? Like, if I wear the 198/298 TP hairstyles, am I able to equip my start hairstyle, the default one, back on? Or no?

Yes, just like with changing costumes…
the hairstyle go in a slot like a wig and once you remove it it goes back to your Default hairstyle…
