Does cleric rod have projectile attacks?
if not and I go INT cleric will I hit 0s with aa ?
no projectile.
cleric start with 9 str and attack stats is increase everytime as you level up.
so you can do some physic damage while use a rod anyway.
how about wands? do they shoot projectiles ? or are they melee like maces ?

Rods are good to increase your heal and cure dmg output, but not for melee. I recommend you to use swords and blunts and swap between them and the staff as you grind/quest/play.
Even Wizards have projectile attacks with a sword equipped 
It means each class has its own type of auto attack and cannot be change 
Except sub-weapons (like dagger), or Staffs (Two-handed Weapon) that make Wizards do melee attacks while pressing C button.
If you love ranged attacks (for Cleric) that much, 
you should play Sadbu class.
Why?
Sadbu’s skill “Out of Body” can move the spirit out of the body, and that spirit can move freely near the body, as well as cause auto attacks => RANGED ATTACK 
Surprisingly, the spirit deals auto attacks scaling with INT, not STR => MAGIC ATTACK 
Thus, you can use your beloved rods now 
and take full advantage of them.

Funny you mention that, I’ve been planning to play sadhu since I first saw it can’t wait to play it and its amazing all his skills scale with INT
