Question about builds

Hello!

I came here to ask a few questions about builds, since I never got to play Tree Of Savior in any of the CBT I don’t really know much about the game besides of what the videos of YouTube has show me as well as topics in this forum, I’m really hyped for this game since I saw it more than a year ago and since it’s going to go OBT pretty soon I believe I’m really excited to try out this game.

Now, I’ve always play as a support in MMORPG’s, it’s my favorite role in games so I’ve been trying to decide between Wizard or Cleric (most likely going to do both but can’t still decide which one is going to be first), so I discovered this website which allows you to create your builds for the classes of ToS and decided to try and make my builds for my characters so I know how to start with my character.

Now, I haven’t play the game ever as stated before so I’m really unsure if these are solid builds or if the skill points distribution is alright, also I’m unsure about the path for my Wizard (Cleric is alright I think, not sure either), should I instead take Wizard C2 and take Chronomancer C3 or just leave Wizard at C1 and take Pyromancer or Cryomancer and Linker C3 with Chronomancer C2, I’m really confused and would like some clarification about what to do with that.

Also would like to know which stats these classes focus on and which ratio should I increase them (such as 2 points in SPR 1 point in CON, something like that).

That’s all the questions I’ve, sorry for making this post so long and I hope someone can help me, I’m really excited for this game and I hope to see some of you guys ingame and make some friends when the game finally launches.

Why you don’t take a strong rank7 class on rank7?
any reason for take rank1 class on rank7?

Priest need Revive. Aspersion damage and buff are minimal.

Wiz3 is a dps it will not work if you take too much Support class.
Maybe you have no idea what class that you choose have any skill that benefit your gameplay?
or why i choose this class?

You plan what you want then choose class that fit the most.

You say " I instead take Wizard C2 and take Chronomancer C3"
why you need Wizard c2?
is you really need Chronomacer? you want to be support or dps or both?

For stats you add Con when you feel that you lack of hp to survive.
you add spr when lack of sp to cast skills.
you add int when lack of dps.
No set in stone stats also depend on your game play if you stand very far avoiding monster cast support skill in safe spot then you don’t need much con. you can feel when play the game don’t need to set it early.

wizard c3 because of -50% cast time? then you can be wrong for chrono c2 and linker c2.

basically people who chose for wizard c3 because they have long cast spells/skills like elementalist.

some people chose wizard c3 because runecaster hidden class.

Oh okay, so I should better take Pyromancer or Cryomancer than going Wizard, the main reason I wanted the Wizard Circle it’s because I thought the Reflect Shield buff was good, tho I’m still unsure if I want Linker C3 or Chronomancer C3, probably doesn’t matter since there is most likely going to be more ranks so I can pick both :stuck_out_tongue:

The reason behind Cleric at rank 7 was to take Divine Might for another buff, isn’t it worth it and should I take something from the higher ranks?

the popular builds are like these:

wizard => wizard => wizard => elementalist => elementalist => elementalist => warlock/runecaster

wizard => pryo => linker => linker => linker/pryo => pryo => warlock

wizard => cryo => cryo => cryo => chrono => chrono => chrono

And for a Wizard full support like I want to build would

Wizard > Pyromancer/Cryomancer > Linker C2 > Chronomancer C3

be a good build overall?

It is the most common one, but everyone tends to forget about Thaumaturge which is also a decent wizz support.

Yeah I know about Thaumaturge but I’ve read that class falls off late game with the buffs and such so I’m not sure.

You can pick between killing enemies faster, boosting stats and damage for allies or boost attack speed+movement speed with secondary stat boost from attribute. Ive been hearing that linker isnt good unless you go c2 now, but going link2+thau c3/chrono c3 gives you a huge lack of damage. Unless you always party up a lot, I wouldnt recommend full support

In PvM aspect, maybe, but in PvP Transpose and Reversi are quite useful.

The problem is that if I was to select something else from Chrono or Thau that would make it a DPS class and not support at all, unless I took out the Linker class and went a different class path earlier so I won’t have little dmg without with a C3 of any of those classes, but I think linker it’s a really good class for supporting not really sure about skiping it if supporting is my goal.

Yeah in PvP is better but I don’t think I’ll play PvP at all since I like PvM more, that’s why I don’t think going Thaumaturge is a good option overall :stuck_out_tongue:
